Practice match moved to Melbourne

Concerns over the extreme heat expected for Perth this weekend have prompted the practice match between West Coast and Melbourne to be moved to Optus Oval this Friday.

The Eagles were concerned about playing another game in oppressive heat after the temperature exceeded 40 degrees Celsius during their practice game against Hawthorn at Subiaco last Saturday.

West Coast now takes on the Demons at 4pm, Friday, at Optus Oval.

It's great that it was moved, I was really looking foward to going to a practice match and then when both were interstate i was very disapointed. It was a nice suprise comming on the net to find it was moved to Optus, just hope I can get out of my last class, so I make the start

Well, I'd love to go, but seeing as I'm working till 4 that day, I'll have to give it a miss I'm afraid! I want reports though!

oh just up the road from me... well not really...
um doesn't look too good for me, dont finish school til 3 and then havnta travel up there.... if its guna be worth it i'll see but i doubt it!
