What’s all this talk about out 10 days? We have 17 days between this and round 1.

Totally my bad; I can't add up . Great start to 2025 .

Does that ground have any elevated grand stands? (I suspect it wont be great as it sounds like a suburban ground) The reason I ask is that so far we've not had any elevated camera angles of our games so the tactics/ running patterns / gameplan are nearly impossible to make out. Its shit me to tears since that's probably my main interest. Still, never know, it might help with oppo (first round in particular) not able to analyse us as much.

Depends how many cameras fox send to the ground.
The smallish Grandstand (image B) in the center of the ground has a purpose-built media center across the back section.
So at least 1 camera will be in that area.
The main clubhouse will have one on the balcony behind the goals (image A) and one at the other end.
In previous years i have noticed a few more (3/4) around the ground in these preseason matches.
The broadcast should have enough coverage to get most of what you are after.
But it is all up to fox how many cameras they want to run with

For those going and are visiting or new to Brisbane maybe get a train to Springfield central for 50 cents.
The drive out to the ground could take anything from 1 hour to 1.5 hours as you will have to go in peak hour to ensure you arrive on time. At this present time, it is just 32 minutes to the ground from the Brisbane CBD
Having said all that i will be driving out to the game and park in the nearby Orion shopping Centre.

10 days is ample recovery time. We'd get less in the regular season if we were faced with a trip up north in mid-to-late March.

Iirc last year we were victims of round zero in that GC had a proper game and we didn't and it showed. This hit out v the best side in the comp should alleviate that for us next week regardless who we play

Couple of points to note: Crouch got some work done on his hip/lower back early in the piece after the first run through. About 10 minutes worth. Completed rest of training and looked ok. Thilthorpe looked to be struggling a bit with his back. Tex, Rankine and Sholl (heavy bandage on knee) looked fine. It was bloody hot.
