Thursday 7th, September - AO - 7:50PM
Port Vs Essendon

Friday 8th, September - SCG - 7:50PM
Sydney Vs Melbourne

Saturday 9th, September - AO - 3:40PM
Adelaide Vs GWS

Saturday 9th, September - MCG - 7:25PM
Geelong vs Richmond

All times are AEST

Wouldn't think that the winners of the elimination finals would be given extra days break over the losing qualifying finalists.

I'd go

Thursday- Adelaide vs GWS
Friday - Geelong vs Richmond
Sat arvo- Port vs Ess
Sat Night- Sydney vs Melb

It is the AFL we are dealing with after all, what do integrity and fairness matter anyway!

However in the OP they had both qualifying finals on Saturday, and there is no way they would make one of those teams play on a Friday night off a 6 day break vs an opponent with a day or two extra break....is there?

AFL confirmed Thursday night is a lock. NO SUNDAES!

GWS and Geelong will have a massive swing.

If GWS Win

Saturday Arvo
Sydney vs Melbourne

Saturday Night

If Geelong Win (assuming Richmond win by 3-5 goals +) but if its a really close loss for GWS and a really close win to Richmond, see above with Richmond and Geelong swapped.

If Adelaide finish 1st they may have first pick of the time slots? I'm not sure. They will definitely ask for Friday night in any case.

Looks like Adelaide is confirmed to have the Thursday game. If it's against GWS might struggle to get 50k but if its either Geelong, Richmond or Sydney guaranteed 50k.
