Correct me king if I am wrong but didn't Sando say during his press conference last week, they were trying to eliminate thus style if play?

They are looking at improving there kick and handball game by winning the contested ball or ball from a stoppage across half back and then hitting up a leading player around the centre wing. Then that player will hit up a contest or leading forward inside the 50 for a shot on goal.

They are not looking for players that have run and dash from the half back flank.

There's no point in dropping someone unless the player coming in is an improvement. Martin, Riley & Jaensch (already named this week) are not AFL standard footballers and their selection does not improve the team in any way whatsoever.

Repeating this ad nauseum does not make it unassailable fact. Martin has not been given a decent opportunity to show what he's got to offer. NO-ONE thinks Jaensch should be played in the back line but he could well be worthwhile up forward or on the wing if he's given a shot. Riley has not had any meaningful test of his ability as an AFL midfielder.

I'm not saying any of them necessarily does have what it takes, but I do say they all deserve more of a chance than they've been given. Your repetitive high-handed dismissal of players as 'not AFL standard' is boorish.

Well I've tipped Crows. Hope you don't mind a neutral posting, not really that neutral...the missus and most of her family are all Crows.

I still think Richmond are overrated/inconsistent and Adelaide...I just don't (yet) believe that almost minor premiers last year could have taken such a reversal with really only Tex the major loss (don't rate Tippett much).

If Richmond come out to play then it could be tight. Crows almost always do. I'm not reading much into last week's match.

We've had two weeks to analyse your team as well. You have only had a week on us.

You misunderstood me. I was talking about the mental aspect of dealing with an unexpected win and having two weeks of everyone patting themselves on the back. Then they see the Crows get pumped and somewhere in the back of their mind they think all they have to do is show up today and they'll win. Its a classic trap for a young side - they get ahead of themselves. Crows do it, North does it and last year Richmond were specialists at it.

If the Tigers win comfortably today I'll take that as a sign that they've matured and will almost certainly play finals.
