I don’t think it’s been too bad on Harley, good to get him acclimatised to what will be happening each week unfortunately. He seems the sort to relish the challenge However, would certainly hope the umpires will be watching for anything that crosses the line. I mean there is four of them right

Our forward line has no leading forward to create structure around. Nobody leading out to draw defenders away from the pack just leads to a high bomb to the nowhere. Adelaide don't need to draw men off and guard the space because nobody is leading into that space

Going after an 18 year old isn't expressing aggression or physicality. It's macho "screw you pick 1" energy.

Pretty much confirms the Crows aren't going to be mentally up to challenging again this year if they feel like they have to go out of their way to assert dominance over a kid.

Those panicking about Harley don’t. He is good and will be good but we need to wait 3-5 years to know exactly how good. In the mean time just enjoy his journey.

He also loves to engage with the opposition both physically and verbally. Being a kid he will need some help but the rough stuff and verbals won’t bother him that much.

Fremantle did the same last week. All the media attention around him has made him a massive target for opponents.

It will make for a rough introduction to top-level footy for H.Reid, but his progress will be accelerated over the long term as a result.
