Sen said last night Mick Malthouse was going to be holding a press conference at some point today. Anyone got a time or any other information?
At a guess, directly after the open training session? 11-11.30?

Wouldn't a pre game presser involve someone from Hawthorn though, as a true match promotion.
My guess is maybe a new sponsor to replace Aussie Loans at the end of the year. (My hope too).

Hopefully Malthouse is announcing his retirement/resignation, effective immediately.
We can always dream can't we.

I think you mean "One can always dream, can't one?" - let's not make sweeping generalisations a part of our conversations.
I think there is more then one of him that would like to see this happen, prefer it at seasons end myself.

I wouldn't mind hearing from Buckley and Malthouse at some stage...
I wouldn't mind hearing from Buckley and Malthouse at some stage. A very convincing 'we are both happy with the arrangement, and know where we stand, and are both working 100% with the best interests of the CFC at heart' type statement would be great. Not necessarily today, but at some stage.
The constant media attention and speculation can take its toll. They end up creating the tension and thus a story, which is exactly what they are trying to do.
Gez, imagine how many pressers we'd have to make if we addressed every bullshit rumour and piece of innuendo the Herald Sun and Bigfooty conceived.
I don't care what MM addresses, I just hope someone from the media asks about the Jack Attack.
Surely, there is more to Jack's "omission" than "form" considering the amount of players we have "out of form" at the minute i.e. Leroy Brown.
He is our best forward, plain and simple and as mdc said, we know this because he gets the best defender weekly.
Something doesn't sit right with me about this. It has a "Dayne Beams punishment" or "MM whipping boy/scapegoat" written all over it.
Few days before leading up to the Aints game some poster mentioned a rumour about Jack having a bit of a dust up with Pendles at training.
Should be starting now
The price of lacking the courage to make the call to appoint Buckley at end of last season. Mick in under pressure firstly because people are starting to realised he is a failed coach of Collingwood, secondly becasue he finally has a finite end to his tenure and thirdly becuase of the Buckley scenario. So now we need to have press conferences to clear about the air about things that haven't actually happened?
Depends how bad it was but i agree someting is weird about Jack's ommission.
MM's presser in 5 minutes.
