Carlton's historis training base will be returned to its traditional name of PRINCES PARK on April 1 after the club's contract with MC Labour expires.
The ground was renamed Optus oval from 1993 to 2005, when labour hire company MC Labour took over the naming rights
While the club may enventually sell off naming rights when the stadium's redevelopment is complete, it is unlikey before the end of the 2009 season.
"It goes back to Princes Park but there is a possibility that with the redevelopment we might sell the naming rights again," club chief executive Greg Swann said
Carlton initially received about $700,000 from Optus for the naming rights, but it is believed MC Labour paid vastly less than that in 2006.
