The Hawks problem is due to our success we haven't had access to young talent. As a result we haven't had many younger players cement their spot in the 22 in the last 3-5 years, which is why we are targeting 23 yr olds in the trade period to fix holes in our list. If the club isnt successful, we will struggle when our champions retire. However we just won 3 premierships in a row. I have been alive for 9 premierships. While i want the club to continue to be successful, I dont think axing anyone over 30 that has served us well is the answer and are happy if the Hawks look to rebuild. All i am concerned with is that we keep our culture and standards in tact. Then through excellent recruiting, player management and quality support staff we will rise again.
