It is understood the two suitors believe Lynch, 27, is a marking target who has suffered from the poor delivery of ball from a young midfield.
Carlton could do with a goalkicking key forward while Richmond is in need of some ruck help.

Interesting sort of player. .Almost certain we would be one of the clubs looking at Lynch. I for one would be all for recruiting him as long as we don't have to give up a hell of a lot. Booming kick and a great lead up option could compliment our young midfielders.

Not going to help us win a premiership. Plodder. No.

C'mon...draft our own unless an elite option comes up.

Having said that...4th rounder and i'd take him to help the fwd line for a couple of years.

Browne or (hate to say it) Ellard and a 3rd rounder for Lynch and their 2nd rounder

Or our third and 4th round picks for Lynch and their third rounder :D

Or straight swap our third rounder for Lynch.

No No No.

Has no defensive side to his game and is terribly inconsistent...I would even rather give Fisher a go before Lynch.

My only targets at trade period would be:

Andrejs Everitt
Michael Rischitelli

A definite no to Lynch, but certainly can see benefits in gaining Mckinley who has not been developed correctly in the current forward set set up at West Coast.
He is out of contract and is likely to return to Victoria, with price not being high to gain his services.

Give this bloke a wide berth.
John Worsfold came out and said that the club had given Lynch some goals he had to reach, and after two seasons, he still hadn't reached them.

This year was always going to be a "suck it and see" scenario with who worked and who didn't in our forward line, and we have tried many differing options up there. I don't think we need to add anyone else up there, unless we can get an a-grader, and just persist with who we have.

Having said that though, if we can get Trengove out of SA, then i'd be all for it.

Seems like the number 1 target from carlton BF supporters.

What would they want for him?

No to lynch. Pagan left along time ago, we are not in the business of giving away picks for flogged horses anymore.. Having said that you never know with wayne...keep it young or go mature age around the 24 age brackett.

Didn't want a bar of us in the Fev deal, why do you think he'll come now?

The idea of Lynch really isn't that bad. Can play at a reasonable level, big, hard bodied, mobile, will draw a quality defender, relatively versatile and can provide a chop out down back or in the ruck if need be. Even the age factor doesn't concern me that much...seems durable, no history of injury cocnerns, could potentially play 70-80 games all going well.

The issue I have is I don't think he is a smart enough footballer to play the required role. Even with the wide open expanses of Subiaco WCE have not found a way for Kennedy and Lynch to work together effectively. Can't see him working with Hendo.

Lynch I would only pick up with the last pick in PSD. I agree 100% about McKinley. Would straighten us up and with better delivery could be a gem. Many fans from other clubs are thinking the same.

Q Lynch is a terrible, talentless footballer. Best he stay at Weagleland. He has a turning circle close to the diameter of the MCG, has zero agility, has zero footy smarts, can't read the play, is a long but inaccurate kick, and will rob our forward line talent of space. Just so glad those nuff nuff HUN journo's don't manage our list.

:)
