Query about VFL team

Was just wondering. If Geelong win their first final next week and earn the week off, what happens with our VFL side in the preliminary final? Can we load it up, does the 12-10 rule apply, or since our seniors aren't playing that week, are we limited on who we can play in the VFL?

don't really know why we'd want to?? the afl is the real deal and that's what the clubs really after.

From what I've heard, it is the later and you have to qualify to play, which rules out Rooke
