fletcher would have to be the best since sos

Totally agree Fletcher is the best full back since Silvani, maybe even better than Silvani. You can tell a full backs good when coaches try and devise plans to negate his effectivness in the defensive 50. One of the best kicks going around, can kick it 65 - 70m and hit blokes without them having to break stride. When was the last time Fletcher had a bag of goals kicked on him?

I agree with everything you said in this post except for the bolded part.

No way in hell Fletcher is close to being on the same level as Silvagni. Fletcher is good, but Silvagni is the best Full Back of all time.

Toss up between Scarlett, Michael, and Fletcher. Hard to separate those three with MacIntosh not far behind.

I'd go Scarlett.

Scarlett and Michael whilst great at their trade haven't had to stand the quality of opponent that Fletcher had to in his early days. Locket, Dunstall, Ablett, Sumich and Kernahan were genuine goal kicking machines. In more modern times Lloyd, Gehrig and A Lynch are/were the only full forwards of class, and out of those three only Lloyd would be comparable to the first group of full forwards. Fletcher has played against the best and done very well. And i'll say it again, when was the last time Fletcher had a bag of goals kicked on him?

It's pretty hard to have bag kick on you when you're playing on the opposistions 3rd foward.
