Whilst watching the game (Great game BTW) I thought I heard what sounded like a chant often using in English Premier League games that went like 'Come on Richmond Come on Richmond Come on Richmond' etc etc.

I'm assuming it was a Richmond chant anyway as 'Come on Bulldogs' just doesn't suit the chant.

Just thinking I remember the cheersquad in the early 80s singing You'll Never Walk Alone all together with a mass of Richmond scarves-it was amazing.

Maybe we could create a rendition of it,change the words a bit.

If any club deserved a song of this power,it is Richmond!

Walk On Walk On
With hope in your hearts
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

It would be great if you could get more and more people to do these chants, would make a great atmosphere for you lot.

:)Just like the preliminary final in 1995 when we were getting walloped by the Cats, yet the yellow and black supporters were continually singing the theme song throughout the last quarter!
Truly amazing!!!

I was in that section.

I remember seeing Emmet Dunne and Roachy.

It's a great song, but it really is a Liverpool thing. Wouldn't go down well at our game IMO.

The Richmond cheer squad sung it in the early 80s and it was amazing.

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie.

Oi Oi Oi

Really hate that chant:o

Sat behind the goals last week. It was the Tiger Army doing the chants.

they also do a version of ("o sole mio" or "lego's aldentico" for the uneducated!), but they sing "he's our deledio".

Cheersquad was just doing the clap clap clap type chants, which were cool too. But the Tiger Army were the ones with the songs...
