Quick MCG Seating question

I'm about to get some tickets to the Pies Port game at the MCG - they're in section M28. There is a big block in the seating plan - what is this? Will it restrict my view, or should I get other tickets?

Not at all. It's just a tunnel where the Auskick kids run out. The one where bands play on GF Day. Your view will be fine.

Although that end is where the Pies cheersquad and members all sit. Port cheersquad will be up the other end. If that influences your decision at all.

Crikeys that is a hard one, sit near the Collingwood cheer squad or the Port cheer squad?

Speaking of MCG it is a lot less user friendly when booking a seat online.

At Etihad you can "select your seat" and zoom in on map basically see and choose anywhere that is available.

MCG just throws up vague seats with a map that isn't detailed.

Ticketek v Ticketmaster is the issue I guess.....

Ticketek used to offer that feature for the MCG, it was great. But it vanished for no apparent reason.

Yeah it is a great feature shame they don't have it ay
When I book tickets I can't even find a detailed map of the MCG that shows what seat number is on the end of the aisle etc.
But Eithad is the opposite it is great for selecting a preferred seat

Yeah but in the long run ticketek > ticketmaster. It's smoother, cheaper and won't crash come finals time. Imagine 100k trying to use ticketmaster at once! *shudder*
