Opinion Quinton Narkle. Is 2022 the end of the road or the end of a slow burn?

Lots of conjecture and debate about Narkle's place at Geelong. He has strengths, and he has weaknesses. Depending on what side of the fence people seem to fall on determines whether they believe pro's are outweighing the cons; or vice versa.

My view is that his status as 'gettable' in prior trade periods only for no one to be interested should have served as his wake up call, yet unbiased commentators with no vested interest in him called him out yesterday for lazy defensive running. So perhaps the penny is yet to drop.

I think he has 4 months to prove his worth, or sadly the club will move him on.

I think he will stay on and develop well.

He has never had a solid block of games.

We know he has the class and can provide outside run.
