Season is close to being over but not quite over yet, we are still a chance!!

Clearly team selection reflects that

Its done we are literally 3 games and massive percentage from 9th this is just unwilling to debut anyone new

I'm fine with Hamling being in, we need tall reinforcements down back against Freo's forward line if we want to avoid Blakey and/or Mills having to play 1v1 too much. I would've preferred Snell with an eye to the future, but much of a muchness.

McLean in over Buller though pisses me off, if that's the way we go, which I think it will based on squad selection every week this year (first five names make the bench, last three are emergencies)

Need pressure and contests in the front half and McLean is giving us neither right now, and on top of that we don't even select a Cleary to go with it. Sigh...

Buller stayed in. Green the next to debut. Fantastic last week onto the ground ball. Not sure about any other but Datoli.

Why jump to conclusions. The two who are out are listed as; Rampe & Francis

If there is a third change, it won't be Buller. He did too many good things last week.

If there is a change it will be McLean I think. He looks proppy and with Amartey and Buller there he can have a rest and get his leg seen to.

So far what we have is a straight swap;

Amartey for Francis

McCartin for Rampe.

Isn't the preferred ruck in the VFL that often, Ladhams and Buller ahead of him

Snell and Dattoli are well ahead of him in debut line

Agreed still a lot to play for. We are nowhere near the stage of cue in the rack.

Win this and we have a winnable month.

We start favourites here and more than likely in the next 3.

in any case just trying to play our best football consistently should be the goal of our team and importantly Cox, who is still trying to bed down the game plan.

I just created a semi realistic ladder where we finish 10th on 56 points. Yes some stuff will happen but we have to go 8-0 plus win each game by 6 goals just to make finals

Momentum and continuity flow from season to season.
This side has only basically been together this season for 3 games.

With the exception of a couple of people. The core of the side needs to play more.

Yep but instead of bringing in Hamling we should have brought in Snell, instead of playing Lloyd who won't be here next year lets play Dattoli.

Thats all, maybe in 2-3 weeks we bring in someone else that young but thats what we should be doing
