(snip)Having a graph that shows the premiers position at the end of the H&A season as well as the end of the finals could give a picture of where previous premiers have tended to finish the H&A season.
Actually, what would be interesting would be where the old premiership teams were sitting on the squiggle at the current round in their premiership year.

Still think wel see a swans vs crows gf.
as i told my dad at the footy
If Adelaide beat the Kangaroos. Adelaide vs Geelong
If North win, Hawthorn vs Geelong

Geelong I could see dropping a few more against poor opposition, but when they're switched on (ie. Against top 8 opposition every game this year) I see they re a step above the rest.

Adelaide need top 2 to do it and I think by getting that win on THursday, they should do top 2.
Almost certain top 4 is coming Adelaides way.
But Im pretty confident in finishing 17-5 atm which this season would get us top 2.

Though, watch Melbourne now beat Adelaide (Adelaide are 1-9 in games I've travelled for) and ill be saying 5th and a tight semi loss.

Maybe you should stop travelling and stop talking about your jinx.

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you ever tried.

Bad news, I'm going to the Melbourne game as well and my record is 2-11. We're screwed.

I never thought of it as a jinx untill it was 1-8.
And even then I was more focused on what it was since i moved from SYdney to Adelaide. All 4 games had been 5 point games. So naturally I expected a 5 point game vs Hawthorn last year.

Hopefully you both cancel each other out...

Ok, so i'm expecting a 15 goal loss now.

Geelong fans will love that outcome given we completely outplayed them in adelaide whilst being a man down for the entire match. It would be Port 2007 all over again.
You do realize that if they did meet in a GF it would be almost 5 months after the Cats vs Crows game in Adelaide.
After this weeks results I wouldn't be getting too cocky if I was a Cats supporter.

Just need to go back a few weeks to the Swans press conference to see just how sour the grump was. You'd think that after 5 years as a senior coach he would have learned to approach topics tactfully, rather than head on like a raging bull. That twat from Hawthorn is just as guilty, but you just need to look at coaches like Paul Roos, John Longmire, Leon Cameron, John Worsfold and Ross Lyon to see how behaving well after the game regardless of the result doesn't land their team in hot water.

The Scott twins, Leppitch, Voss (to some extent), definitely FIGJAM and other no-longer-coaching coaches (especially Mark Neeld who was one of the absolute worst senior coaches I've ever seen) have occasionally disgraced themselves, tactfully and completely recklessly like the last time.

Back on topic though, Swans tracking far off into the right horizon thanks mostly to torrential rain and cyclonic conditions for almost the last 2 months. Swans were the 2nd best scoring side at round 7, but are now the 7th best. Doesn't help when it pisses down every single game without fail.

Wasn't it wet in Sydney when we beat you last year?

**** me backwards man.

STAY HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL.

All it actually shows was just how poor the rest of the competition was in 2007. It would have to be one of the weakest seasons in history. Geelong just won by default.

Adelaide would thump Port.

Depends what you call poor.

There looks to be eight teams this year on or below 55 attack and 55 defence.

In 2007 it looks like no (or maybe one team) is in that zone.
