Maybe it's the nostalgia or i'm getting soft, but remembering all the great times these champions brought us almost brings a tear to the eye.

All of them had ups and downs, but that just made the journey even more exciting

Many of them leave us with broken bodies, bodies that they carelessly threw into the line of fire to save the black and white a near certain goal.

Hopefully for our retiring heroes they can now finally put their feet up and i pray we still regularly see them at the club

A little part of me hopes this thread one day finds it way into the hands of the boys mentioned, just so they know they will always have a home at collingwood and will always be loved

It gets easier. Took me a long time to get used to the side without players like Daics, Banksy, Kelly, Morwood and co but I'll always have youtube and my 1990 and Daicos Magic VHS tapes. Haha. Yes, I have them in DVD form too.

If I imagine that your avatar is you, then I can share your tears without having to shed my own. You can shed them for me, even with me.

I'd like to believe that Shaw has done a deal with GWS, then I'll raise a glass to him. Till then he is still a Magpie. To all other Collingwood retirees and delisted players, thanks for the memories. To Daisy Thomas, I hope you never again reach the heights of 2010 and 2011.
