Pointless is a bloody brilliant show. Such a good format. I'd like to see an Aussie version but you just know they'd never be able to recreate the chemistry between Alexander and Richard and it would just end up a massive cringe-fest. One of the reasons I prefer the UK Chase to Australia is that Andrew O'Keefe just acts like such a tosser. His ridiculous enunciation and body movements are really off-putting. Bradley Walsh is a much better host.

The guy posts 'memes' about himself on the daily, had/has a political party named after him, and isn't afraid to refer to himself in the third person.

Firstly, it's his account so why shouldn't he make 'memes' about himself? If he can't make fun of himself on his own page, with iconic characters like Grog dog, then where can he?
Arguably he named the party after himself because he's a highly recognizable figure. It gained publicity towards his cause which he probably wouldn't have got if he just named his party the "United Party".
Also I've never heard him refer to himself in the third person before, and unless you have any proof I will resume the same opinion of Clive.
I despise people who talk in the third person (so arrogant) but because it's Clive and he posts great memes I will potentially have to break my standing. I'd probably think he was a flog if it wasn't for his content given his political ideology.

As for the party, it just highlights his 'alpha male' persona just like Trump, in the end, his senators couldn't work with him and his ego and the whole thing fell apart.

Fair enough. You're entitled to your opinion. I just think he's a better bloke than Trump. I don't agree with either of their beliefs but ever since watching his Australian Story I've sort of empathised with Clive a bit.
