I was convinced by bigfooty that this was a good game, its not. I'm sure it will be a good AFL game, once I work out how to do all the exploits that the AI uses against me!@fancyscum's not a fan I heard
It's, something, I guess? Certainly the best creator we have had for an AFL game, but certainly has its issues and is nowhere near what you get in one of the Big Ant Cricket games, NBA 2k or a Pro Evo where you can import images off a hard drive.Anyone got AFL Evolution 2?
Does it have a create a team/player function? What are they like? Usually these games have that sort of thing but I've heard nothing so far.
Yeh ive got an AFL league monopoly. Its pretty old. I haven't played it in years but Im pretty sure it still has the Ansett Cup on the board!Random question. Does anyone on here own an AFL monopoly game whether it is league or club?

Basically, you can create guernseys for any custom team, can't be applied any of the licensed teams. You can select one of about 40 pre set guernsey designs to work with, and apply logos and numbers as well as develop a colour scheme for it. The logos are moved around on an imaginary grid, which doesn't allow you to place a logo in the centre of the jumper. You can scale up logos and rotate them, although you can't have the proper AFL logo on the breast of the jumper, because it uses the League logos from the game where the AFL logo is this one.
The colours for your guernsey are picked on one of those rainbow thingy's where you use the stick as a cursor to select a colour, making it very difficult to match the colour on different parts of your jumper, the ability to take a swatch would have been really helpful here. You also can't touch your shorts or shorts at all, not even to make your shorts white as an away kit option.
Its going to be good for creating a your own custom team using what they give you, but it doesn't really let you go and create a lot of past designs with any sort of accuracy. Hopefully it can be improved in future games.
Thank you for listening to my TED talk.
I don't. Capitalism is gross and I'd rather not play a game centred around it.Random question. Does anyone on here own an AFL monopoly game whether it is league or club?
Yeah, the logos are only the official club logos, and only the present ones as well. Makes something like this impossible which sucks. Not a licence thing, past club logos still appear in the game on banners and flags, so just an oversight not bringing them into the guernsey creator.I'm trying to re-create this guernsey in the AFL Evolution but the bounding kangaroo is not available in the custom Guernsey creator. Do you think this is a license thing? North Melbourne have their away Guernsey like this in the game but in the traditional colours. Surely it wouldn't be too hard to just have same generic kangaroo in the Guernsey custom section. Do you reckon they'll have updates to allow for more of a range of customisations? Uploading your own logos would be sick but doubt it will happen. Hopefully they can improve it in future games.

doubt we’ll see any updates to this in this game at least, unless people get in touch with the devs and ask for it.
It’s pretty much the designs from the past games with the addition of some more traditional designs (hoops, stripes, sashes, wings and side panels)Anyone got an image of the various designs in the game?
Have they announced the PC release yet? I imagine it may be months after the console release anyway. If Evo 1 goes on sale and drops price I might just get that instead. If you're after designing your own stuff, you're best off waiting for the PC release and modding the textures. Was easy in AFL Evo 1, I'm guessing it won't be too different in AFL Evo 2.

UNACCEPTABLE SPEECH COMRADE. 10 YEARS IN THE GULAG FOR YOU.A socialist society will not last. While it it good to found a community as it brings the community. In the long term capitalist ideologies will start to manifest as people start to want more, believing they deserve more than others.

This is pretty much what my Year 12 History teacher told me too. She was a member of the Australian Communist Party in her uni days just for reference.A socialist society will not last. This is a good way of saying it. An even balance between the two should be found. And as long as people are able to hoard masses of wealth without effort or merit in a rigged system, whilst those below them are left with so little, capitalism doesn’t work either, at least in its current format in the western world.
I see merits in both systems, I think society is inevitably capitalist but there needs to be a socialist approach to things like welfare, healthcare, education, disability care etc. Privitisation in these fields in most cases around the world has only served the interests of those who can make profit.
