Port, probably the shittest team in the comp, doesn't get to play either GC or GWS twice!!! THE AFL IS AN ABSOLUTE ****ING JOKE!!! No-one (except for maybe us) should get to play both twice, its too unfair! Instead the teams we play twice (except for Adelaide) should all be finals or even top 4 contenders: Essendon, Freo, Hawthorn and Richmond  The AFL really is clueless, no idea whatsoever! NOT HAPPY!!!

Must be a new record though, Collingwood actually have to leave the state 5 times  Half as many times as the rest of the comp! The AFL is still way too Victorian-orientated for my liking

Certainly. Especially at Subi. I think it's different in Melbourne - because I like the more casual, relaxed atmosphere at a sparse 'G. Yet a hectic, atmospheric Friday night can be simply awesome.

Do you go to every Eagles game, EFH?

In regards to the fixture, I find it absurd how a club can get GWS and GC twice. Surely one or the other. Also a little disappointing to see that Fremantle, although "promised" to get GWS twice (as we only played the Suns once - which was one of my all time worst footy experiences, may I add. Fuc the Freo "cheersquad").

May I ask what happened, SA?

Claremont's coach Simon McPhee joins former Subi Premiership coach Scotty Watters at St Kilda - how do you feel about this EFH? Not bad for a guy that's never played senior footy, and a genuinely good bloke from what I've heard. Tough to fill his spot, will it disrupt the Tigers' back-to-back chances?

I don't know why, but it made me suddenly reflect on how things have changed... it completes (or maybe not?) an extraordinary sequence of events, from my point of view, in the last year-and-a-bit as a WA footy follower; particularly with Eagles/Dockers and Subi/Tigers rivalries.

WCE last to 4th/Freo miss 8... Subi into a GF after being 3-8... Ross Lyon to Freo... Suma to go to the dark side... Scotty W and now McPhee to StK.
Give me any of those this time last year and I would have called you many things much worse than 'crazy'.

Footy is an effin funny game.

Thrilled for Macca, he is a fantastic bloke, and an absolutely magnificent operator, the best coach I've ever seen at Tigerland. I have no doubt that he will one day take the reins of an AFL club.

From a Tigers perspective, there's no doubt that losing such a fantastic coach does set us back abit, but I'm sure a capable replacement will be found

It wasn't anything terrible or malicious. Yet it was still pretty aggravating.

My dad and I gave away our regular tickets to someone else (we usually sit in the members area in the Three Tier stand. Toward the NAB Stand side) so we were made to buy some tickets off of ticketmaster. So of course, we were splurged with some average tickets - row B, right behind the goals. It was pretty much our first experience being in the middle of a cheersquad - it was terrible. "Freeeeeeoooo" was boomed from the voice of some bloke sitting on his lonesome; "Go Dockers!" squawked by a 14-year old boy; And "I hate you Ablett!" came through the harsh throat of some absolutely annoying chick behind us. They'd insist on singing, slagging off Gary Ablett (who, might I add, was having an absolute burster. I always like watching him in the flesh)... it was just a pretty bad atmosphere. And I mean, I like footy banter and some bloke with a classic footy voice booming out comedic gold.. but.. these people were just lame, annoying, and ruined the game for us (a little).

I also believe Simon McPhee is related to a kid I go to school with. Is this McPhee from Ongerup or somewhere around Borden?

Yeah mate, I go to every game at Subi, member of both the Eagles and Dockers
Oh really? Where do you sit as a Fremantle fan?

Anyone who says that RVP isn't the best player in the Premier League right now is kidding themselves. He is an absolute excitement machine. Even as an opposition supporter he is just pure class to watch. This high scoring season has been as crazy as it is compelling. Now for the City game. :thumbsu:

Don't normally watch that much soccer, but I did tonight! Caught the end of the Heart and Sydney game and then watched Arsenal and Chelsea. A very fun way to spend an otherwise boring Saturday night.
