Is that Karen on the left?
Man, Zimmerman walked out of his house and shot a unarmed teenager.. any other western country and he would’ve gone for murder.
you can’t really claim self defence for screaming at a kid to stop walking around your neighbourhood, then pulling a gun out and shooting him.
just because you have a gun doesn’t mean you can make people do what you want. It’s probably why vigilantes are seen in such bad light to the courts as well.
Yeah I can agree he was a prick, I imagine it's required to be POTUS.He also said The reason I can say that with some confidence is not just based on science but based on the fact that… it wasn't until the '80s where we started banning lead in paint, lead in toys, lead in gasoline.
So if you are my age or older, or maybe even a little bit younger, you got some lead in your system when you were growing up. You did. I am sure that somewhere where I was two years old, I was taking a chip of paint and tasting it, and I got some lead. Or sometimes toys were painted with lead and you were chewing on them.
He was a prick...
but at least he made you feel good about it so :shrugs
I'll defer to your knowledge of the USA political landscape and I agree he's a bastard, but I don't see what occured that night as being dangerous.Point number two: Every child in Flint who may have consumed water during the course of this tragedy -- and that is the overwhelming majority of children here -- should get checked.
Now, the reason that's important is because lead is a serious issue. And if undiagnosed and not dealt with, it can lead to some long-term problems. But -- and this is really important, so I want everybody to pay attention -- if you know that your child may have been exposed and you go to a health clinic, a doctor, a provider, and are working with them, then your child will be fine. And the reason I can say that with some confidence is not just based on science, but based on the fact that keep in mind that it wasn’t until the ‘80s where we started banning lead in paint, lead in toys, lead in gasoline. So if you are my age, or older, or maybe even a little bit younger, you got some lead in your system when you were growing up. You did. I am sure that somewhere, when I was two years old, I was taking a chip of paint, tasting it, and I got some lead. Or sometimes toys were painted with lead, and you were chewing on them.
Now, I say that not to make light of the situation. We know now what we didn't know then, which is it can cause problems if children get exposed to lead at elevated levels. But the point is that as long as kids are getting good health care, and folks are paying attention, and they're getting a good education, and they have community support, and they're getting some good home training, and they are in a community that is loving and nurturing and thriving, these kids will be fine. And I don't want anybody to start thinking that somehow all the kids in Flint are going to have problems for the rest of their lives, because that's not true. That is not true. (Applause.) And I don't want that stigma to be established in the minds of kids.
City officials came out to test the Walters’ tap that same month and found lead levels at 397 parts per billion. For reference, anything greater than 15 ppb—what the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency considers an acceptable level—can result in irreversible damage to a child’s brain. In fact, the EPA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention agree there’s no truly safe lead level.Yeah I can agree he was a prick, I imagine it's required to be POTUS.
But I stand firm on the opinion that on that one night in Flint, he wasn't there to gloss things over. Let's take a look at your quote in its full context

Drone strikes however..
Ummm...
It’s kicking off again.
He may have been completely f’ed up on drugs and there's the cop's accounts of what happened. He did fall to the ground when the cops tried to put him in the car. So they have to look at this "evidence" to see if it's relevant. They'll charge him with something, and if it's not at least manslaughter the place will blow up. Still, either way, the cop has f’ed his own life up forever and I hope he rots away because of it.

I must say that Unicorn Riot @UR_Ninja is taking a bit of a chance by posting under their own name.Someone’s broadcasting live

Completely agree. There’s no excusing kneeling on someone’s neck for 9 minutes. f’ed his own life up? He killed someone. He took someone’s life away.
I think he’s an arrogant cop who wanted the crowd to know who’s boss. The more they screamed at him to get off him, that he can’t breath, the more he wanted them to know he was the big man.
3rd police precinct has been broken into by the mob!
It's going to blow.
Minneapolis police also killed that Australian woman no?
they're shooting fireworks into the precinct!
