They are also funded the rockafella foundation, their fairly open about who funds them but it still gets into all sorts of conspiracy people heads. But it’s also the point of it, none of these places would exist without funding because the people don’t buy news anymore.

What’s that old saying you never pick a fight by people who by ink by the barrel.
Yep.

They are pretty open but I thought it was interesting that they are funded by Open Society. I don't gave a problem with OSF anyway. If I had that much money I'd be influencing the world with it too. But I mentioned it specifically because of the funding issue. Like you say, no one buys news any more.

Very few things are funded by government. Big philanthropy controls a huge part of the world these days.

Anybody watching the Le Tour de France tonight? I'm enjoying the scenery as always, the commentary... Who could ever forget legendary winners like Fillet Mignon, Cheese Souffle and Coq au Vin? Not to mention our very own 6 Paques and a Dimmy....

The fact that it's believable at all is an indictment on Biden and the Dems, to be fair.

🤣To be equally fair, nobody in the world would be safe on that score - in this day and age. Can we name one person who is considered beyond reproach in every quarter?

Former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain died on July 30. So it naturally came as a surprise when, two weeks later, his Twitter account tweeted a link to an anti-Joe Biden video with the caption, “Just in case you thought Biden’s candidacy was going to be anything other than completely nuts, team Trump has released a new video. #JoeBiden #KamalaHarris.”

On Sunday, however, it again made headlines, for sending out a tweet, which has since been deleted, reading, “It looks like the virus is not as deadly as the mainstream media first made it out to be,” with a link to the conservative political website the Western Journal.

Many users quickly noted the irony of the tweet, given that covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, caused Cain’s death.

This video popped into my head after our loss on the weekend. It’s an old one of an Everton fan reacting to their defeat at home by Atalanta (a small Italian club) in the Europa Cup.

No need to watch the whole thing, but the first 30 seconds I find painfully close to home in a hilarious and politically incorrect way.
