It’s because they’re sex offenders or something isn’t it? I’m not sticking up for the kid who shot them but if that’s the reason then it might be because it’s insensitive to the people who were survivors of the murdered peoples abuse. It’s a weird one for sure.

Its definitely sympathetic to the victims of the shooting, but there is a chance at least two of the shootings could be called self defense as well.

Apparently Rosenbaum was mentally ill, homeless and suicidal and not really involved with BLM at all, he had just been released that day from a mental health facility because he'd tried to kill himself. (Which is ****ed up as can be, why release someone in that state from a mental health facility?) But like so many people who are ****ed up like that he was just drawn to the chaos. He seems like a bit of a campaigner to be honest but maybe by the time he got to the protest he just wanted someone to shoot him.

I dunno how accurate the article is but it seems like a fair account. (Maybe cos everything is so polarised around that event.)

The kid shouldn’t have been there but I have zero sympathy for someone who did what he did. Of course he’s mentally unwell, he’s a predator and he was probably homeless because he had to leave his house after being charged with beating his wife. The kid did the world a favour by killing him…not that the kid would’ve had any idea of the blokes crimes.

It’s a total shitshow. Like the shooters parents took him there armed with a gun. Who does that? No winners in this.

I just keep going back to the parents and as a father I can’t for the life of me get my head around his parents supporting him going there at all, let alone armed.
