I could not get into the show. Was really looking forward to it. Olyphant and the evil dude are very good, but thought the story lines were somewhat lacking. Need to give it another go me thinks.

If you're not sucked in by the half way point of the second season you're probably not going to be. It took me a while but it does improve markedly from the first season.

I struggled through about half of the first season. Then got hooked. Also s2 is the best.

Do you watch Boardwalk Empire?

I started watching season three the other day.

Good to hear. I will watch first season again and get the second season and see how I go.

The thing is, in the first season they started going down the route of having like an everyday unrelated crime each week that he would tackle and it started to feel like CSI Kentucky. Fortunately, in the second season they started developing a seasonwide storyline and that's when it hooked me.

Plus Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) is a great character and Walton's a very good actor. He should get more film work and maybe that's starting to happen. He has a bit part in Django Unchained so I guess QT rates him a bit. Is also good friends with Olyphant in real life and I think that's how he got the part in Justified.

Watched the first season but just felt like another cop show to me.. too much McNulty, not enough Bunk.
