Do you want a university that's organised and plans things properly?

No? Then Vic Uni is your new best friend.

Turn up for first day of class to find out everything is magically switched and I've been screwed scheduling wise.

On the plus side, I got a Suicune in Pokemon.

My timetable changed today for the 8th time in 3 weeks at school. I don't know how some people are employed.

Try one of these :thumbsu:;)

Might swing this into a VU vent thread. Second day of school, spent another full day, no classes.

Plus side, met an Asian girl with a flawless British accent. The holy grail of race to accents.

I take it you paid a pretty penny to do........well.....nothing then.

I would be going of my nut if I were you K-Man.

Continuing on the Uni theme....

I should be finding out tomorrow whether it'll be possible for me to drop Chemistry and pick up First Year IT at Monash Uni.

Of course if it is possible (I kinda left it a bit late and all) I'd still have to ponder it and everything.....

Anybody have any experience with doing a Uni subject while in Year 12 or Monash Uni in general?

stick with chem:IT is flooded

IT is what I wanna do at Uni though. Chem is basically just a gap subject so that I was doing the minimum our school wants this year (4). Science doesn't really appeal to me...

Ideally I would have wanted to go to Melb Uni (because that's where I actually want to go for University) but Monash is the only one that offers IT for Year 12 students.

Stick with Chem SC. That way you can invent a new beer that doesn't give you a hangover. For that you will need a tasting expert and guess what, I'm more than willing to offer my services.

Well I think the protocol is you test it on animals first...

You're an actual Toad in real life though, right?

Well written, Eddie. Reckon it needs a bit of zing to make it stand out from the many other articles on the same topic. You know the boring old 'find your own voice' stuff. Watch the cliches - padding like 'let me put it to you this way' really is just that and has no place in an opinion piece particularly when you are writing to a word count. Look to add more succinct punch and good luck.
