The person who I have given a number of lifts for and covered for when the shit hits the fan, decided today to call security on me kicking the footy with lyall on the lawn where I used to live twice.

Freo is like god. Dont mind them, but the fan club...

Fair call with the bandwagon thing. The fact that 90% of people in Australia follow one of the big 4 means there are bandwagoners one way or the other. I began following them due to the 99 final, where Solskjaer nailed the winner. I kind of looked like him as a kid, and therefore followed the red devils. Though in theory I wouldnt have been able towatch them if they werent successful enough to make the UCL final, so in theory I am a bandwagoner.

Then again, communism is perfect in theory

Sounds vaguely like my student village eviction story (except for the footy kicking part).

I was enjoying a quiet puff with a mate in his room when security knocked on the door.

Turns out he'd had a big fight with one of his housemates and she'd decided to get back at him by calling security when she smelt the weed.

Thing was she didn't know I was in there (her and I had always got on pretty well before that and apparently she was sorry I got busted too. At least that's what I heard - I don't know because I never talked to her again).

Seems I was just collateral damage.

Keyser and his bandwagon comment mad: ) brings up an interesting point...when was the first time did you start supporting The Eagles? For me it was back in the 1999. I was 10 then and the first time I saw Peter and Phillip Matera I was hooked on the Eagles. I still remember that pre-season game rolleyes: ) where Fido single-handingly beat the Roos back in those Jako vs Carey days. So what about you guys?

My first football memory is watching some game against Geelong on the couch with Dad, must've been a big game because there was a big crowd.
I'd have been somewhere between 2 and 4 years old.

I always casually followed football, well, I stopped a few years ago when I played soccer, but in the past few years it's become an obsession.

First time I followed the Eagles would be the 95 season when I was 6 going on 7. A centre line of Matera, Kemp and Mainwaring was unbelievable and Matera was my childhood idol. That other team from WA just seemed meek compared to the blue and gold.

Never been to Old Trafford before (Iv never been out of Australia). Members Equity Stadium will have to do, as well as the 5hr pre-game pub crawl
