Still in mourning that it's not Becks....

Yeah, I understand the casting of Godal, as opposed to someone like Beckinsale. They're trying to emphasise Diana's Mediterranean distinctive, and getting an English rose like Beckinsale won't do that. Somebody with olive skin, jet black wavy hair, but also athletic, buff, and a fiery strength of character.

It's a hard casting. No wonder they haven't done her in a movie before (no pun intended).

Some of you were discussing Suicide Squad the other day, and especially Margot Robbie. Here's the Comic Con trailer:



Gotta say, Margot Robbie looks VERY impressive as an actor here. When you get more screentime in a 3 minutes trailer than Will Smith, that says something. Her performance looks like it will be utterly amazing - she's got the perfect balance of unnerving and playful insanity. Fabulous casting. If you're going into the movie for the ogles, this isn't the movie for you - if you're going in to see a young actress steal the show with her performance, I get the impression you won't be disappointed.

Uh, Tom Cruise realises that "Ready or Not" was written by the Fugees in 1996, right? That's TWENTY YEARS AGO, Tom. You couldn't find a more recent song to make your whole "we're so edgy and hip" song for your trailer, and presumably the movie?

Just like she stole the show in Wolf of Wall Street, a movie starring Leo and directed by Scorsese, when no one except Neighbours fans had heard of her.

She's got the looks and the skills to match. It must be love..

Question is Mitch Starc and his fitness - if he doesn;t then I think Siddle will come in as he is dependable and can bowl for long spells which is something you need on the English pitches. I would not be unhappy with Pete if he was picked.

I lived in London '96-'10 so spent some time in France, (Mum is a French Teacher so can speak a bit). Fantastic country. Bordeaux and the Loire Valley is sensational but you can name so many other places as well.....up there with Italy as one of the must see countries if you're doing a Europe trip!!
