I didnt know jeff farmer was also diagnosed with a mental illness...

Also are you saying the reason black assaulted his female victim is because he was bipolar?

Don't know if it was a reason or not. I am saying that Black had an undiagnosed mental condition, which may explain his appalling behaviour.

But he is an ex Saint so he has no excuse apparently.

So you are saying his bipolar diagnosis 2-3 years later may have been the reason he assaulted a female police officer?

And jeff farmer is what just jeff farmer?

Joffa , the whole "Schoolgirl" thing was a media blowup based on false information that StKilda players met her at school.

You do know that its quite common for "Schoolgirls" to be LEGALLY out at nightclubs LEGALLY and to be banging their brains out ( your terminology ) if they choose to. Schoolgirls can frequently be 18 or 19 years old.
Your use of the word "schoolgirl" is in fact an emotive term. I understand why the media chooses to parrot it, because its their job to sensationalise things.

Just as a thing, I'm a Feb baby and was 18 in year 12, whilst I did not go out to night clubs because that would be irresponsible on school nights, I did go to classes completely drunk off my face with bourbon my drink of choice back then, would have been locked up if there any cops present, but the school could do jack didly squat otherwise. Back in my year, 12 years ago, there were already people smanging and otherwise for 3-4 years, got a few drug addict & pusher ex classmates contributing to society and some up to significant other #5 with baby 12.

The point being I entirely blame school kids in these situations, 100% because people are friggen morons when they're younger and should all be locked up. :D

Maybe emotive, but didn't he bang her and wasn't she a schoolgirl? Again it comes to choices an attitude.

Just on this, Duthie had a forged ID (illegal) which allowed her access to an overage section of the club which, from memory, stated that she was 23 at the time of meeting Gilbert at said club. Yes, she ended up being a girl, at school, but just like I have the bones of a 70 year old in the body of a sexy 30 year old man women swoon at, so too can people look older than they actually are, and with falsified documents that conned establishments to believe they were valid and authentic, I do not believe this was a poor choice initially, as many would fall into the exact same trap. I mean, we've had underagers, people faking and etc at the Olympics which have conned the world for a time, I'm not blaming them, as shit happens sometimes and what matters, is that they got found out in the end.

Slightly tongue in cheek.

I'm equally fond of don't let crazy stick it's dick in you.
Now it's about tongues going in cheeks?! Dude, you're into some weird stuff!

(Just trying to keep par with the general level of ridiculous that this thread has become)

Not sure where to start here, but let's give it a try...

I think it's pretty easy to sit on the outside and judge people.

Don't get me wrong, I do not condone anti social behaviour in nay circumstances.

What we need to understand with young men is that firstly, testosterone plays a big part, as does peer group pressure. Hence why kids growing up in a bad environment are more likely to offend.

Another guide is to look at their fathers. In Carey's case, it makes sense. Young men and kids in general pick up their cues from their parents.

My dad for example was a hard bastard. abusuve to both us kids and mum. That was his way. It wasn't until I travelled back to the old country and spoke to other family members that I truly understood why he was like he was... my grand dad was worse. So who did my dad learn from?

The argument can put as to why I turned out differently... I did inherit many of his traits, but I did not want to end up the same way.

Not everyone is able to do this IMO. If you have grown up in a stable home with parents as great mentors, then it is very easy to point fingers at people.

Ultimately, people have to be accountable for their own actions... but in terms of domestic violence and attitude towards women, in most cases, you don't have to look further than the father figure. A poor role model who was probably taught by an even poorer role model.

And that's just one of the reasons why this stuff happens.

On the other hand, deep down people do know what's morally right & what is just plain wrong. Quite frankly, some people just choose to be arseh*le campaigners
arseh*le campaigner a: stab a dog to death
