Yeah I wonder whether it's possible to make our own group leagues like last year or not....

I'd love to know the answer to this too. Can't seem to find a "group" button but I'm sure someone must know how it's done.

How do you change a league name? FAQ says I can change it before the lockout but it doesn't say where?

I believe that if you select a league that you admin, then go to edit your own profile, you can change it in there - along with your name and password and stuff.

ever looked at tooserious.net? one of the better places to look at scores n stats imo

Cheers mate ;)

Not sure where to post this, there is a lot of stress being put on bye rounds, but surely as they don't start until round 11, dream teams will have already done at least 5-6 or more trades. Maybe I'm just excusing my selection, but in picking only 2 or 3 players from each bye round you are seriously limiting your premium options, especially in the defenders area with Richmond, Carlton saints and hawks all sharing rd 11 bye. That's about 7 of the top 10 defenders. Thoughts?

But in picking keepers your expecting them to be there all season. Rookies i can understand but you don't want to pick your best players all from the same round.

You dont want to be wasting 6 trades on sideways trades from keeper to keepers otherwise you may aswell go see the DT HACK thread and sign up DR dream team.

Also by not selecting to many in the one area like R13 prem backs you can actually upgrade to them before the byes. Where as picking to many really llimits your flexability and upgrade options.

Me personally, I'm just picking the side I believe will net me the most points and I'll worry about the byes when it comes closer to those rounds. I don't think it's a good idea to select a team to suit the byes as these byes are going to hit everyone hard and you can't really "dodge" them.

It would be wise to select a team that has taken Byes into consideration. So come round 11/12/13 you can be prepared to avoid as many 0's as possible without burning the most amount of trades.

Not worrying about the byes can severely hurt a team taking into account the byes go over 3 rounds, that's a lot of points that can really make or break someones season.

For me you can limit the damage. Everyone is going to get hit bad, i will be amazed if anyone comes out with anything less than 4 zero's over that entire bye situation. However some could cop 15 and some could cop 5, im wanting to be the one that gets 5.

I am in 2 leagues.

is there a setting that I can use so that can have only one team for both leagues so i don't have to change both every week?

cheers

Your question is a little ambiguous. You can have one team that can play in up to 5 different leagues so any trades/changes you make in your one team will be the same in all the leagues you are entered in.

I hope this answers your question.
