C4[2]Yo`DooR's Method of Attack:

First Round - Best Available (Tomlinson, Frost, Paine, Docherty etc)

Second Round - Dylan Buckley

Third Round - Best Available (Kelly, Clay Smith, Bussey, Dobosz etc)

Fourth Round - Bradley Hill, Lachlan Danglish

Firth Round - Kyle Hartigan

Bradley Hill is the brother of Docker Freo, reportedly has that same line breaking speed and Danglish also has the same type of speed we can add to the midfield.

Kyle Hartigan has performed well at VFL level and should be considered with a late selection in order to provide genuine KPD insurance to our defence, and given that mature aged players are the flavour of the times, he would be able to step in and play straight away.

Add in any other players that we might secure by way of trade.

Two players from other lists that I would like to get and think we could get for unders are Jordan Lisle from Hawthorn and Jon McCarthy from Collingwood. Lisle has probably been the best performed key forward outside of Fevola in the VFL and I have little doubt that McCarthy would be getting a game at almost any club other than Collingwood.

Not sure why we bring up the name McCarthy when discussing KPP?
Not the player we need to go for I'd think, but every chance he'll be looking for opportunity elsewhere

Looks quite possible C4.
The name Hartigan seems to have been around forever. The guy must be 27, surely. :)

Buntine a third rounder Splendini? There's talk of him going first round.

The name Dom Tyson just looks wrong and many would confuse it with, Tom Dyson

You aren't aware of C4's history of absurd optimism? ;)

Do you really think we'll use 5 picks (not including Tuohy upgrade)?

everyone keeps talking about Reid and butcher which are very little chance of happening. I think we should look at Jordan lisle from hawks. Good size and shown he can kick goals and take a grab I'm the VFL. doesn't look like getting much game time at haw because of there abundance of tall forwards and shoemakers, Stratton, gillham and Gibson ahead of him in defense.

would come reasonably cheap and would love more opportunity elsewhere.

also if gumbleton came cheap I'd target him shown that he can be a great kpf at essendon when fit and may need a change of clubs to finally get his body right.

Can you imagine Gumbleton coming to Carlton and then miraculously fulfilling all his potential and more? I know it's never gunna happen but i'd love to see that.

Sadly, he'll probably go and sit on Freo's list for 2 years and then hang em up.

Just can't see it eventuating though as Essendon would still be reluctant to offload a number 2 selection cheaply, just yet.
I recall that draft looking pretty good on the big men yet 2 & 3 could well be trade bait in a few weeks time.
No. 4, Leunenberger looked set to join them at one stage, but hasn't he come good.

Just noticed Thorp at no. 6 also. What a bomb.

Would not be surprised if the Bombers have lost patience with Gumbleton, with Hurley at Centre half forward & Pears/Fletcher/Hooker/Carisle down back he probably has limited opportunities anyway, they probably would consider themselves 1-2 quality midfielders away from challenging, so whilst his market valve has declined in a big way it may be time to trade him, a team may consider him worth a gamble, although as mentioned Jordan Lisle may be worth a look at.

He has a lot of talent, and I believe he needs to get out of fremantle. How many times do you see freo let go someone and they flourish?

Tall swingman > medium forward.... We have enough mediums imo
spot on !!! we need more mediums like we need the maggots to be premiers again this season...........no way !!!.....pitty about kennedy isn`t it !!! no more bloody flankers in the first round mr hughes or else a dark cloud will envelope you forever !!!!!!!

Gumbleton = Hartlett MkII.

Word on the Draft and Trading board is that Adelaide's contract talks with Jack Gunston have broken down and that the board is having an emergency meeting this weekend about him.

Apparently was a no show at the club champion award or something according to SA media.

Think we will be red hot at Gunston, shown alot of potential

I think he will now be off the table with Franky and Ugly down with serious injuries.

I think that the Dawks will be looking at recruiting someone on a 12 month contract to fill the hole while Buddy recovers.
