After watching Moonraker tonight I was disappointed to say the least. It actually had slapstick in it FFS.
Of the originals the ones I liked are Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice (Donald Pleasence Blofeld is the best) and The Man With The Golden Gun wasn't to Shabby....
Casino Royale was excellent. The parkour chase scene and fight and the start is done well.

Hands up all those who reckon Esti and Stronzo were a married couple in a past life? :p ;)

Today was monumental for me. Sort of. Not really but anyway. I had a lecture which I actually enjoyed. For two hours I was actually interested in hearing what the lecturers had to say. Two very clever blokes from opposite backgrounds had an hour each to discuss the conundrum that is peak oil during my energy studies lecture. Despite fancying myself as a bit of a greenie, I agreed with the bloke who was supposed to be arguing against the doom and gloom of our planet running out of oil. He had worked in the petroleum industry for thirty odd years as a geophysicist and seismologist so his blood was pretty much sweet light crude, but his argument was good. He pretty much conceded that we're running out of oil and said that we've looked in all of the most obvious places so there's probably not much that we haven't found, but countered this by saying that there is a shedload of natural gas which we have found but not exploited as well as plenty we haven't found. The most interesting thing he talked about was the untapped potential of coalseam gas, there is plenty of that to go around for a long time to come apparently. As much as I'd hate to see us continue to rely on fossil fuels like this, he did have a point.

Too highbrow?

When you said you enjoyed a lecture, I was hoping it was becuase of something funny or a good looking girl, rather then just an interesting debate:p:cool:...

Fair enough too ;)

This unit just so happens to be infested with mature agers, so that pretty much rules out incidences of humour or hotness.

Massive uni assignment we have had 5 weeks to do, starting it tonight due Friday...:(

That's pretty good actually. I'm more of a Thursday night person myself!

What was the subject BKBP?

Energy studies. I'm actually a Renewable Energy Engineering student but since I failed a unit or three last semester and couldn't repeat them straight out, I had to enrol in a unit from a similar field to keep my full time status. I chose Introduction to Energy Studies and I reckon it's been really good. I'm having a year off next year but when I come back, I reckon I'll drop REE for energy studies. REE is too dry, boring and hard.

Nice, Im one of the good old fashion commerce kids, basically those who have no idea what they want to do with there life... Id probably be doing the Thursday night routine as well, except I have to work Wednesday and Thursday nights, so that could be an issue.

Though I did sit in the computer labs from 11 last night till 9 doing a weekly assignment I had no real clue how to do...:p

I like turtles....

Ninja Turtles FTW!!

Does anyone here listen to Triple J?

I'm going to get tickets to the Robbie Bucks party and get sloshed. :thumbsu:

Commerce eh? I often wish I was cunning enough to avoid the sausage fest that is engineering for the bountiful hotness found within the lecture theatres of commerce, business and the like.

Am I right or am I not wrong?

Engineering has a ratio of 45:1 doesnt it?

While there are a lot of girls in commerce, there are some real bad types as well. Though the benefit I have experience is that when in mixed groups, I always seem to end up in a group of 2 blokes, one girl. Guys find something in common (footy, cricket, music, soccer etc..) and chat while girl does all the work:D:p

Nah, its ok for a look.

Though exam days have the worst lookers ever... No time for make-up or even decent clothes, and is shows on a lot of them...

That's probably about right

Now that's the way to do it.

I always find exam days funny. You can look around the room and instantly see who's been up all night cramming, who hasn't slept because they've been stressing, the people who are too smart to be worried and the people who just don't give a stuff.

This thread needs a bit of a kick in the rear and I really can't be bothered going back through all of the other threads looking for this (or even the previous pages of this thread), so was it you Stronz that was talking about U-Brew It? I am planning on having a bit of a going away bash in a few weeks time and I reckon putting on a keg would make it a pretty bloody good night. I checked out their website and it all looks pretty sweet, but was just wondering what varieties you and any others have tried and what the cost was like?

You can download a catalogue with all their prices etc on it. You get all the beer types and variations that you would in the shop and the majority of them taste almost identical, you get a few that are off the mark but most of them are good value. :thumbsu:

I've tried the heineken one, and it is bloody good. Found myself cracking them before 12 somedays. I have the catalogue here if you want to know anything, but basically as freoazz said, you can get all different types of beer, but depending on the type, you'll need to allow 2 weeks from the time that you order it/go in and brew it.

Other beers they make are constantly being brewed so you can get them as soon as you want, or at the most 2 days wait.

Azz, where can you download the catalogue? I can't find it. There's a list of all the varieties but no prices.

Cheers for the help lads. The night I'm planning is not for a few weeks yet so I'm just throwing a few ideas around my head at the moment. Nothing, except nothing, beats a keg night and this looks like a pretty good way to do it.

Where's the unlisted board? Surely they deserve one?

The only thing the unlisteds deserve is to be put up against the wall and shot.

Has everyone noticed that the eagles seem to have an awful lot of unlisted supporters on here yet we have hardly any? (PavforAA doesn't count). It would be pretty embarrassing to admit to being an eagles supporter I suppose.

How can you tell who unlisted people support Esti?

Who do you think you are?
