I just found a gift a friend of mine who now lives in Japan sent me last Christmas that I never got around to opening. It's an inflatable swan head that you wear around your groin. I'm not even joking.
Edit: Actually, upon further inspection, it's a duck's head.
Edit again: No, it clearly says on the box it's an "inflatable wild swan". I even found a picture of it online.

So... I hesitate to ask... what is it for exactly? Is it purely ornamental, or does it serve a practical purpose?
I haven't opened it yet to see but if it's anything like the other stuff this company sells (it's not the first present from this company I've received from this friend...) then it will just be for fun. It's inflatable but has compressed air pockets inside that you "burst" by hitting it hard or something like that to make it inflate.
I've yet to see a movie this year that has truly blown me away.

The one who sent me that gift certainly is a weird one - nice girl though. She definitely fits in in Japan.
She also sent me a set of inflatable breasts, from the same company. My fiancee got me a tiny little Crows guernsey a while back (seriously this thing would fit a newborn) so I pinned it up in my office and put the inflatable breasts inside it, since I couldn't think what else to do with them. Since then the Crows guernsey has had all sorts of things added to it by my office-mate and other friends, like an opera mask, a big green hat, badges, etc. I should give it a name!
