Haha lucky no exams! Well you might be at UniSA, I heard they have a week 13, Adelaide Uni doesnt. :) I've got 4 3 hour exams.:(

Coldplay? Silverchair? There's a few, not as many as pre this period though I'll agree.

Silverchair were about 1995. I remember thinking how does a kid my age make such great music.

Coldplay may be the exception, Parachutes in 2000. But they are not a band I like that much.

Seriously stressed up almost to breaking point right about now as I am ****** if I fail it.

Week 13 just a glorified extra week of swotvac. I would kill for a week 13 this semester... 4 weeks out from the end of my degree and I am actually a reasonable chance of failing :o
 
I've just pissed someone off that I'm really regretting now.:mad:

Does anyone ever buy those diamond simulant thingies for engagement rings? I mean, they sound like such a great idea, the same look at like 1/10th of the price, but on the other hand how much of an arseh*le would you feel if you got one for the girl you were going to propose to? You'd be so worried that she would be offended, and you wouldn't even know when you should tell her. It could only possibly be done when you had discussed it beforehand, and even then you'd not want to start the conversation. And hell, if my fiancee had told me she wanted one I'd probably protest, since it's supposed to be a lasting symbol of love and fidelity and all. Sure, it's a man-made construct that really adds little to nothing to the true depth and richness of a relationship, but somehow I feel that if the very first piece of symbolism is skimped on, what omen does that give for the rest of our lives?


It seems to me like a brilliant idea wasted on an oddity of a market where people lose reason in favour of once-off splurging.

Add me to this club as well - today's the first day in about 10 days I haven't had to take Dimetapp/Strepsils (and I've nearly finished a bottle of mouthwash in 5 days).
 
Off to the pub with my stash of 40 dollar coins in my little purse. I'll play it slowly in lots of 8 - betting more than 20 credits ONLY when I'm above 800 credits.Will I come home with none, some, all or even above my stash this Tuesday? :)

Same here. I've pretty much been final all year despite maybe a few light colds from staying up to late and the like, but I've had my current cold for three weeks! I'm entering my fourth now and I'm sick of it :thumbsd:

Its got all these demented stages too. I keep thinking my throats getting better but then it plays up again etc.
