watch out for Brendan Lee rookie listed by essendon from the royals very skilful player we were sad to lose him but you cant hold them back he stayed awhile

I'm not sure Tom Lee makes a lot of sense at pick 9. Richmond have backups at 29 and 31 which, if they felt Lee will go in the top 30, they can use. Using pick 9 seems unnecessary, especially given I doubt there are that many clubs willing to use a first round pick on him.

I don't expect Richmond to have pick 9, however Lee is the CHF they need.

Why don't you expect Richmond to have pick 9? I expect Richmond to do little more than delist and use free agency, and Richmond currently has pick 9. Who is this player that Richmond will trade for using pick 9?

Hey Rangain how old is silverlock looks a good player moves well might be worth a rookie punt for Port what do you think we get the SANFL over here in Perth at a ridiculous time saw him a couple of times gets in and under and is creative

Is this tate silverlock we're talking about?
if so steer clear, spent a year on our rookie list and was quite disappointing

I think Richmond will try and secure a ready to go player from another club with pick 9.

Like who? There aren't that many players worth pick 9 who are already free agents. Given Richmond has made little noise about Cloke and no noise about Goddard, I'm curious who this player will be.

Keep an open mind, Richmond have 5 good defenders, possibly Chaplin also, apparently interested in Thomas also, Pearce or another outside midfielder to compliment Grigg, Tuck, Martin's inside work, help Cotchin. I'm not saying these three Port lads are what you need, but I could easily see pick 9 shopped about for a ready to go, ouitside midfielder.

Who are Richmond's five good KPDs? And even if Richmond do have five good KPDs (they don't, they have two) Chaplin would add depth to a defense which struggled when Grimes went down.

anyway none of these players, or even all of these players would require pick 9. Chaplin may go via free agency, Thomas is a scrub and Pearce doesn't demand pick 9. Richmond isn't interested in replacing list cloggers with more list cloggers. The only player on Port's list which demands pick 9 is Travis Boak. Offer Boak to Richmond, and they may consider. For the record, Richmond are looking for outside midfielders and flankers, and can easily recruit via free agency. Players like Russell or Knights who could be played in said roles. At the moment though, with Tuck's age, I'd be focusing on inside midfielders. Which is why it's odd that Richmond are passing on O'Rourke or Wines in your mock draft. Wines is especially odd, since I think he'd be able to step into Richmond's midfield straight away, and would benefit from having a few guns around him to take the heat off him.

I didn't say 5 KPD, just 5 good defenders. Pearce is a free agent also. Thomas doesn't add much you don't already have in King. Again I am not saying Port is the team to gain pick 9, but I can see another team calling out their selection come November or when ever.

Even if you did think Lee would go sooner than say pick 25, and you desperately wanted him, you could trade pick 9 for two picks in the early 20's (or even one in the late teens and one in the late 20's) anyway and use one of them for Lee (if still there) and then you would have another 20's pick as a bonus. Using pick 9 on him would be crazy-shit, IMO.

Richmond needs depth, which is why we are picking Chaplin.

Agreed, and I dearly hope that we don't trade pick nine for two picks in the twenties. Richmond need skilled players.

Does anyone know where to see mock draft done today on tac cup superstars today ?
