In the top 20 1971.

Some songs don't age well, this isn't one of them.

Still sounds fresh even today.

I can't imagine it sounding better than the original. I've heard and seen a few live versions over the years (incl. live at Docklands with that big arena rock thing they had in 2000), but I've never seen the Keef Moon drum bit in the middle NAILED.

Youtube sucks on my slow PC so I haven't seen the linked version but geez it's a big rap...

Not my favourite song by The Who - but it'll be in my top 20.

Having said that - it's still one of the greatest songs of all time (it's just that the boys had so many more brilliant tracks).

Not a bad version - but not the best.

Watching it as part of the DVD made me realise how much more energy The Who actually have when compared to other popular artists. Seeing Gallagher come out chewing gum with half-baked strums while Pete is doing his windmills and Roger doing his over the top routine as well probably is a bit harsh on Gallagher, there's no way he can compete with that stage presence.

Still, can't be the best version, because the best way to judge Won't Get Fooled Again is by the scream, and it's not Roger's best. Suppose he has good reason to have lost his voice by now.

The original is one of the greatest songs of all time, the newer version is good but nowhere near the original.
