Gotta be honest and say that i've never been the biggest of U2 fans. I respect the fact they've maintained the same line up for over 20 years and can understand why they're so big. They've undoubtedly left their mark, but their tunes have just never really done a whole heap for me.

Except "With Or Without You".

I've always thought it was one of the most perfectly written, crafted and performed tunes of any era. Its timeless.

Lyrically it is beautiful. Dynamically its perfect. It builds so wonderfully and peaks magnificently.

One isnt a bad tune by any means either, but With or Without You is one of those tunes that can change my mood when i hear it.
