Depends what the criteria are. If it's leadership Atkins would be higher. If it's skill you're about right. If it's impact on the team overall that is very subjective of course and more difficult to assess. FWIW I'd have HenryJ ahead of SDK. A real challenge

Yes, it is very broad I am just thinking of making a rounded judgement on all factors. Dangerfield is higher just because of what he can produce like he did in a few games last year but others probably had more total games at a very good level.
Atkins is so important in what he provides and is 100 percent giving you a decent to very good effort every single game.

SDK with his ability to swing into different positions gets the nod ahead of Henry for me. He has enormous potential and started to get back to his best towards the end of last year.

Also COS hasn't got the runs on the board but I just rate him so highly. I think I would take him number 1 in a re draft.

Not far off my thoughts. I'd possibly still put Blitz a bit higher, maybe because our ruck situation is still confusing and he just continues to be pretty crucial.
As talented as he is, I lack confidence in Martin (could be that I still view him as being made of tissue paper).
I'm not big on Bruhn (think he is solid), but for our sake, I hope by mid year we'd have him higher up list. Similarly worpel. Hopefully Humphries can go higher too.
In an ideal world one of of or both Edwards and Conway are ranked higher come years end.

Why no Stanley?I think he still plays 12 to 15 games this year.

Yeah Humphries is a big chance to be a riser, the more comfortable and stronger he gets. Has great ability to read the game, composure and skills. I have probably rated him a little low, has already put together some very good games.

O. Henry is 5 spots too high.

Martin above close is also probably not right. I would have clark higher too. Think he turned a corner at the end.

Overall though, your list is pretty good.
Close you would put your money on to play a better game that is true. Martin has such a high ceiling though like when he kicked 4 in a about 5 minutes. Clark just looks a step off, agree he got better though.

I get why Bruhn might not be liked but objectively he's way higher than 23rd best player. He might even be no.6

I wrote this list prior to seeing him the other night, I was just worried about what that year may of done to him. He looked good though so I would put him a little higher now. Saying he is better than Miers, Zuthrie, Mannagh and Stengle is a real stretch though.

Nice list. Mannagh that low says a lot about our list, he had some great performances last year especially for his inexperience.

I had him 11th behind Miers at 6th so I'll not address that one but I would be very surprised if he wasn't above the other four on your list by the end of the season. I think you are underestimating the upwards trajectory he was on as a 21 y.o player in the team.

I will not dismiss it, if you search my history of Bruhn chat you will see I have been a big fan since 2022 when discussions of him coming over where happening. Miers is so important in our structure he is the architect. Zuthrie has had top 3 best and fairest finishes in highly successful years and if he was a bit more selfish and hunted possessions would be an All Australian. Stengle is an All Australian and missed a few goals last year but was very un-selfish and added another level to his game ( I understand he is having some off field issues at the moment). Mannagh is a fair call but he has probably had a better season last year than Bruhn has had at the level, he is older but has just slotted into this system with ease had a very good prelim final 15 and 2 important goals,10 games of 23 he had 15 and 2 or more in his first season at the level and with that will get more opportunity going forward to improve on those numbers. I hope Bruhn proves you right though, he is enormously talented and looks to of filled out and have more strength over the ball.

Mannagh is easily top 10 should be way higher. I get danger for the name and the odd one off performance but across a year hes not top 5 anymore.

Bruhn will be top 10 by years end i think
