The South West has been the strongest for a long time...Houston, San Antonio and Dallas all being very strong. But SA and Dallas have dropped off a bit. Although New Orleans have been rising

Atlantic getting very strong. Boston obviously. New York playing well. The Sixers and the Raptors. Atm, all 4 teams would be playing in the Post Season

Pacific...carried by Phoenix and Lakers

Northwest going downhill a bit.

South East alright..especially with rise of Atlanta

Central...so so

I reckon its a toss up between Altantic and South West. I reckon South West..just because at least 4 teams can play Finals, despite Dallas starting bad

I voted Pacific.

Dallas and San Antonio are effectively junk this season, and New Orleans is the only contender in the South West.

I genuinely believe LA and Phoenix are both title contenders, hence they get my vote.

it's still the Southwest; Dallas and the Spurs have dropped off for now (but we day this about SA every year), but Houston and New Orleans are very good. Only Memphis is a cert for the lottery.

The Central is still the toughest conference in the East.

Not convinced about the Atlantic; The Knicks will drop off, Devin Harris has the Nets on his back and I think the Sixers are somewhat overhyped right now.

No love for Houston?

Who voted Northwest as well...a division with the two bottom teams in the league (1-9 and 1-8)...hmm

Just by looking at W-L, Central easily.

How do you figure?

Looking at your way

Atlantic 31-24 @ .564
Central 32-26 @ .552
Southeast 25-28 @ .472

Southwest 26-30 @ .464
Northwest 26-32 @ .448
Pacific 28-28 @ .500

According to your logic...Atlantic are the better division

The NBA champions will come out the Pacific, but by the end of the regular season the Southwest will probably end up with the best winning percentage.

Looking at your way

Atlantic 29-20 @ .592
Central 29-21 @ .580
Southeast 22-23 @ .489

Southwest 22-27 @ .449
Northwest 20-30 @ .400
Pacific 24-25 @ .490

Hmm, my mistake. I must've scrolled down the page not even noticing Atlantic. I just saw that every other division had teams with 1/2/3 wins which to me didn't seem like they would be the 'strong' divisions.

Like another poster said, New York won't last up there, so I stand by my opinion of Central being the strongest.

There's also a guy named Vince Carter who is averaging 23 ppg that plays for the Nets

Sure, but when it comes to the business end of things, Vince will go missing.

It's Harris' team, surely.
