No offence but Mitch Clark is an dead set hack and your post is further proof of how arrogant and ignorant Brizzy fans are ..

Bloody hell Spud Webb, the shortest man in NBA history, could win the ruck duels against a basketcase like North Melbourne right now.
Your team is overrrated, you have beaten no one of importance (certainly not any top 4 contenders, and hardly any finals contenders this year) got smashed by the Cats at the Cattery, and got rolled at home by Collingwood.
If it wasn't for Jono Brown, Simon Black and Daniel Rich, your mob would be wooden spoon contenders ...

Your coach is an feral bogan who likes to go and beat up patrons at pubs with his mates. :thumbsd:

Carlton are going to smash Brisbane to the stone age, and it will be so satisfying to drop u cocky lions down a peg or two.

Blues to win by 78 points.
:o:o:o

Is it any wonder that you get all pissed off when we lose with unrealistic expectations like this. This one reads more like a Bay13 post.:o

Just like last week, it will be Hampson and Kreuzer wearing down the opposition's lone ruckman.

And pushing forward.

Fevola, Fisher, Waite and Cloke kicked 12 goals between them at the Gabba last year with Merrett and Patfull playing. Three marking forwards in Fisher, Fevola, Kreuzer and Austin could stretch their undermanned backline this time around.

Fevola should be in for a big game after kicking six on a gun full back last week.

Three talls and three smalls in Houlihan, Garlett and Betts buzzing around their feet should kick enough goals to get us home. Garlett might make it one too many quick smalls for the Lions to cover. Six inside fifties against WCE might put Garlett more in Lovett's territory than Betts' territory with his pacy run and carry.

I wrote before the round two game that the Lions lack a class medium forward and an opponent for Thornton. Thornton is our best bet to play as the loose man dropping back in front of Brown.

I wish it was Thursday so I'd know if Robinson and Grigg are in.

And if Russell is a possible match up for Sherman after Chris Knights kicked five on him. :p

Carlton's new Browne Dog is a good match up for Rich after playing on Masten last week.

If Judd equals Black's output, another big game from Gibbs and Murphy against Brisbane should be enough to get the Blues home.

what u talking bout man we ll beat da lionz nday na in 2 worry bout boyz we gat dis in the bag my hommies.

Well folks it doesn't get any more ridiculous than these proposals ..it's like this bloke doesn't watch the games and then just pops in with suggested changes ...it's embarrassing reading :o

The only change i can envision is Robinson out for either Scotland or Griig and Hartlett as a long shot if they decide we need more help down back with the twin towers .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
da only hommies we shud drop r
1)gibbs-play like hommie dont noe how to play last week. just gets sum cheap posesoins aint do nothin much.:thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:
2)jamison- just got smashed by little hommie lecraz and aint gonna do much better against brown and bradshawe.
3)russel-dis cracker still doesn't now how to play da the game like fiddy cent he aint noe hoe 2 kick and shiite.

In: Scotland (if fit) - to reclaim the QB role - push Stevens to mid / HFF - thought Stevo did a great job across HB last week - best defensive game I've seen him play;

Out: Robinson - only because Ratts wants to manage his exposure and conceded that from here on in he will field a more experienced side in interstate matches.

Definitely not out: Setanta - because its his 50th game this week. He is a useful utility against a team with two forwards who are both physically very strong. Without Waite, I suspect Setanta may spend some time on Brown or play forward to try to expose Brisbane's young (but very good) defence with Fev.

Grigg: one more week in the VFL

After what Ratten said on On The Couch this week about getting the balance right in terms of experience for interstate games, I will not be surprised at all to see Grigg come back in for a more inexperienced player in the ilk of Garlett/Robinson.

Obviously Scotland will be back this week also.

Now i realise these players may not deserve to be dropped, but after our lacklustre interstate performances this year, I would not be at all surprised to see Grigg and Scotland back this week.

I;ve watched your team, and yes you are over rated, the win against North Melbourne, was unremarkable.

Just remember your humble roots, you;re only Fitzroy with a sun tan.

We;ll spank your arrogant butts...Blues easy

LOL....:thumbsu:.....watch out for those cane toads,State of Origin Games while entertaining their significance diminishes when you play 10 of them in 1 season, gangbang/drug/hit any women today?, ahhhh thats about all I got on ya.

But in all seriousness it should be a cracking game on the weekend. The Brisbane poster before was correct in his statement, it will be about how well we respond to Brisbane's physicality. We know their a bunch of thugs and snipers, so we'll have to be on our guard and just concentrate on winning the ball and playing fast attacking football.

Judd,Murphy,Gibbs,Stevens to dominate the midfield, Fev too good he'll kick 8.

Blues by 20points.

Celtic...please take a few deep, deep breaths, and listen up... Kreuzer is playing very well. He's improving very fast, and he'll continue to do so for some time. I think what acuguy was saying, is RIGHT NOW he'd take Mitch Clark over Krezuer. I personally think, based on recent form, it'd be tough to choose between the two, though given the last 3 weeks, I'd take Clark. He was not having a go at Kreuzer, simply saying Clark is currently playing some very good football, which I agree he is.

To suggest Brisbane are over-rated and 'haven't beaten anyone good' is plain and simple a very stupid statement. Last I checked, the only two teams who are 'any good' at the moment, are Geelong and Saint Kilda. After not turning up to play, and thus rightfully spanked by Geelong, to the tune of 93 points, yes, 93 points, we've turned it around and managed to win 4 of our last 5, get our percentage back into positive territory, and give the Saints the biggest run for their money, at the Dome, out of all the teams to play them so far.

So...we're no good, yet yours truly could only knock us off by 19 points, at the Dome?

This game is no doubt going to be match of the round, so please get your head out of your own ass, watch the game, and enjoy what should be a very entertaining spectacle between two teams vying for a top 4 finish.

Brisbane by 9.

As a Brisbane supporter one would expect you to prefer Clark.

According to Pro-Stats it;s very even...Kreuzer is rated slightly higher.

Fev to go beserk .. Blues by 20+

I reckon it will be a close game. We are going to have to control brown and bradshaw and if we can limit there touches then we are half way there. joseph will get the job on black i reckon. judd and murphy will dominate the middle getting 30 each. fev will kick over 5 and nick stevens will rack up lots od ball in the back half. the lions will only win if they can get the ball to brown and bradshaw and with waite out the jobs will go to jamo and thronton and we also to watch out for hooper who is in good form. i reckon the blues will get up by 16 points

I would like to see;

Grigg on Drummond
Russell on Johnstone
Browne on Power
Joseph on Black

Which leaves Hooper?
Armfield - not sure he is quite a good enough stopper yet
Joseph - then who to play on Black?
Any chance Houlihan could play a role like he did on Aaron Davey a few years back? I know a lot of people don't like him as a defender but Hooper isn't a real physical player either.

Thornton is the man for Brown, Jamison on Bradshaw... and Bower can do what he did against Adelaide, punch every ball and spoil at every contest he can get to.

Sounds good, Jamison does seem to do well on Bradshaw, so long as he can get through the game.

Thornton would have to play in front of Brown the whole time, and have Bower coming in from the side to spoil every marking contest. It could work but Bower wouldn't want to get caught too far up the ground.

Joseph kept Hooper to 2 goals last time,
reckon both were the result of a bit of ball watching, so would stick with him.

Wasn't Johnstone dropped last week?

Think Hadley had around 30 last time we played them,
so wouldn't be surprised if he came in to go on Black.
Just not too sure on having Browne or Joseph inside the centre square.

Joseph on Black or Hooper I would think. He has the speed to match them both on the ground.

Campbell don't worry it's just banter. I think both teams are quite evenly matched, with your home ground advantage giving you the edge.

The us-vs-them point about ruckmen is moot. Brisbane would be equally happy with young rucks Clark and Leuy as we are with Hampson and Kreuzer - we can look forward to some exciting battles over the next decade. We may have squandered a couple of draft selections on chronically-injured Warnock , who's now probably 3rd on our list in terms of development. (Despite his obvious potential I think this time out of the game has stalled his progress for the coming year or so). But if he ever gets on the park, that will tip the balance slightly in our favour.

In our favour, and disappointingly for them, Charman and Leuy are injured for this match.

Yep. indeed. both are sorely missed.

In the end we got Warnock for 'free'.....not sure why people can't get this?
