He pushed Doc clearly after he kicked the ball.

Regardless, the ball should have gone back to Doc, not downfield.
We received a gift tonight and should probably hush about the umps for a couple weeks now.

Anyway: that was brilliant composure from Newnes, as soon as he kicked those wires out of the way I knew he had it.

Willo played his best game of the year I thought.
Took it on, created something out of nothing at times, had some good 1-on-1 wins.
Some of his decision making is still a bit iffy, but I liked his intent.

Agreed. Looked like, for the first time this year, he knew he’s an AFL player. The boy will be something special.

Won with Weitering beaten. Good sign. Thought the umpiring was fair all game but went our way towards the end.

No worries about that after what we've been put through other weeks.

So can we put to bed a couple of myths?

1. There is no conspiracy against Carlton.
2. Umpiring can affect the result of a game.

Downfield was the right call as it was contact after he kicked the ball. It’s whether or not you agree with it being an infringement or not

De Koning and Cotto have really given our team some much needed youthful zest and energy.

We do love our Red Head Hard Nuts at Carlton.

That wasn't our best win under Teague, but all things considered, it's my favourite, given we never led all game until after the siren and The Kids really stood up.

No Jack Martin either who would be in our top 3 in our B and F this year (thus far)

About time the Footy Gods gave us the right result with a win after the siren for a change.

I am a bit emotional right now. But Oh So Proud. So damn Proud.

Best footage is of Fish and Hazza behind the goal. The look on their faces when it goes thru..
Then they rush toward Newnes.
Just after that, the Freo defender goes off at someone in a filthy mood.
Classic footage.

How can it be down field when the ball is out of bounds? It's never down the field if it is out on the full.
