My daughter follows freo. She loves the colour and the song. All game she was telling me how bad the blues are and i took it on the chin. When newnes kicked that goal and i seen her reaction i was so heartbroken for her. But at the same time so happy.. seeing the emotion and the colour leave her face reminded me how i look most games carlton play. By gee we had a good family night though. Great win carlton.

Might be time for you to ask her to move out unless she changes teams.

I must admit the the turn around in them since he took over is very good-- there defence is decimated and they are still playing with a great structure .. he get a tick from me -- fyfe helps

Ridiculous game of football, but glad we won. Came on the back of utterly dominating the stoppage, so well done, particularly to Ed, Murphy, Cripps and Walsh.

Things need to change though, or Teague is repeating the last year he vaguely offered success with the Carlton senior team: 2004. It's almost impossible to mismanage a football club that much any more, but there's far too many signs of that here.

It'll be super important for us to rotate players out and get fresh legs in. Two weeks break for anyone they manage to do that for, which is super important because our run home is absolutely brutal: Collingwood, Giants, Sydney and Crows in 15 days, the Lions in the final round.

And we need to win at least four of them to even have a sniff of finals. Best available 22 every week if we are still in the running.

I recall the season where Sticks kicked it OOF after the siren to lose the match against *, and then the very next week Sticks again had a shot after the siren to win against Hawthorn. Would have been around then too.

Was there in 93, 12 years old. He just needed a point. Cried for a week.

Jesus enough with this dodgy umpire crap. The free kick was there. Bradshaw fair and squarely hit him late and it doesn't matter if it was momentum's it broke the rule and was penalised.

Note they don’t mention the 2 goals they got from dodgy frees in Qtr 1, that one to Doc was more legit than those 2.

Not sure about that. The two frees in their forward 50 in the first were pretty, well, not actually free kicks. And we outplayed them for almost 3 quarters.

We kicked very poorly tonight and should have had the game won before that last kick. Proud of the boys for sticking fat. Whilst we were lucky for the down field, you can easily argue it was there. Their 2 goals in the first quarter from bullshit free kicks weren’t there.

You certainly have the balls to put newnes on the chopping block for dow after newnes winning kick... even after having decent games all year. Come to think not sure balls is the right word
