Geez, DJ must've been really naughty!

Shame Doddy isn't ready. He would've been really handy against the Saints.

So naughty he is gonna miss 3 weeks? This is a worry for me because if it is a discipline thing it puts a question mark over his future at the club if Harvey stays.
And i thought Doddy was ready to go last week until he got sick?

Has there been any official word that DJ was dropped for disciplinary reasons? Perhaps, now stay with me this gets a little tricky...perhaps he is injured?

Why should it worry you. What Mark Harvey brings to the table is what our club has needed for a long time in regards to discipline. If you can't get with the program....
In Harvey, I Trust...

Cook and Foster travelled.

I reckon Murphy will make way for Cook and McPharlin will start forward.

Watching tonight's news, seems as though we are re-inventing Elvis.
Which has some sought of reverberation considering the world scale of anniversary's.

Smart move me thinks :)

McPharlin is ok for periods at full forward but doesn't do the work to stay there on a consistent basis.
Murphy is a natural forward. Leave him there. Let's not forget how he played in the run in last year when the team was firing. He has to be given a chance to get his confidence back. Dropping him now will be a waste.

Foster will be replace d by m. Carr.

As for Murphy. Watching his game it looks on the face of it he doesnt do enough. I admit I know nothing of his instuctions.
So if he stays in then he is playing under instructions.

Elvis could yet become our mirror version of Lucas.

IMO we need murphy playing well so he can be a permanant marking option letting pav and taz alternate being the other marking option. It means pav and taz can run further away from goals and still have three options(including farmer) to kick too.

Not going to be happy if M Carr plays, if he is nursing an injury he shouldn't be played its not like he is a Pavlich or something he isn't important enough to our team to play. Foster or Cook should be above him, i would prefer foster.

Id say Matt Carr has come in to tag either Harvey, Ball or Dal Santo possibly Montagna. Crowley is obviously going to get a job as well, possibly McManus but given Matt Carr's form this year keeping the gun midfielders relatively quiet i think he should play. Having said that he wont play and Foster will be a late inclusion.

Interesting that Cook and Foster have travelled. Would that mean 2 injury clouds maybe?? Or maybe swap a tall for a small, murphy for cook possibly. St. Kilda are a pretty small backline, if it was me id throw McPharlin, Pavlich, Murphy and Tarrant forward. Grover onto Gehrig, Hayden onto Milne, Johnson to Riewoldt. Make St.Kilda use Kosichitzke or Blake in defence. Gehrig has been useless the past few weeks so i wouldnt worry too much about him, just get Grover to get under his skin again and the Train will derail.

No Rix for St. Kilda so their 2 big men are Kosi and Blake for the ruck role, Gilmore would be able to run off Blake in the ruck.

Murphy's flaws will be very damaging to us at the dome. He is slow and doesn't chase, so the Saints will play someone like Gilbert on him and instruct him to run off Murphy at every opportunity. Quick ball movement is the key at the dome.

Cook or Foster in for Murphy IMO.
