Johnno looked better, Mundy was good, Mayne is a ripper, Nockers was good too.

edit: missed Crowley for a special mention - looked so much better today. Duffman did a good job and should play next week. :thumbsu:

Thank goodness. I was starting to worry that I was the only one who though Doddy was good...actually he was very good. His marking, spoiling and running through the half back line into space was excellent. Haven't checked any stats but would think he had a fair bit of it too, and his disposal was pretty clean.

Off subject here (appologies). I have obviously missed something, but why is there now 150 marked on the 50m line??

I believe every ground has it in recognition of 150 years of VFL/AFL.

One of those games when at least a dozen players deserved votes.

5 Pav - when the game was there to be won our captain stepped up and won it for us

4 Palmer - if his 2nd half had been anywhere near as good as his 1st he would have been easily BOG. I'm still pinching myself that he slipped down to our pick

3 Hayden - all class... and I must admit I really enjoyed seeing the respect that he and Wirra obviously had for each other

2 Schammer - best game I can remember from him since our final win. His hardness at the ball is very underrated. Should be a permanent fixture in the centre square.

1 Mundy - cool, calm and collected as always. But even more impressive was his desperation at crucial times in the match.

5-Captain Pavlich
4-Roger Hayden
3-Paul Duffield
2-David Mundy
1-Rhys Palmer [keep up the good work laddie :thumbsu:]

Apologies to Schammertime, Dodd, Crowley, Sandilands and a few others....

5 - Pav. His mark was sensational.
4 - Palmer. I haven't been so excited by a new player since Hase.
3 - Hayden. Genius. Would have got 4, but I almost expect that from him.
2 - Dodd. He does so much for us in the backline.
1 - Schammer. His disposal still needs work, but it's still good to see him near his best.

5. Pavlich. Had a Pie Floater for dinner in his honour.
4. Palmer. Nice headband.
3. Hayden. Courageous. Cool under pressure.
2. Mundy. Used the ball well all day.
1. Dodd. Ditto.

Special mention: "Chopper" Mayne. Loved the 2nd and 3rd efforts.
