This I think. Parsons probably 4 down to 3.

The only real concern is the worry that the AFL just does what it wants when it doesnt feel like following its own system and because it looked bad I think he might get 2 down to 1.I have had a long look at the classification for the MRP. I honestly believe although it will probably be a bad look for the game that based on the MRP's own classification Parson's should get off with a fine. to my mind it was careless, low impact, high contact

I didn't watch 360, but that doesn't sound like a shade of grey it sounds like a completely different interpretation. Making contact to the head that you try to avoid sounds like 'careless' which is already a classification, otherwise all a player would have to do to get off is to say there was no intent. The way they described the provisions and rules for the MRP on AFL 360 last night, it seemed this would happen. I was of the belief if you elected to bump and collected the head, then the onus was on you. Apparently it's still that but if you make contact to the head that you tried to avoid, you're all right. Because we need more shades of grey in tribunal/umpiring/mrp decisions...
Menegola looks like he got his worst case scenario, Parsons his best.
