Hopefully it is. Then we can see the alleged 10 goals handed to Rupo by the umpires as somebody else on here has posted.

I wasn't at the macedon ground yesterday but information that the ground was appalling and may have cost one sunbury kid his future and one macedon star the season.

Agree, but the public don't pay to watch players tell the umpires how to umpire either.

Looking at scryptic past posts it's interesting how he defends certain things such as the condition of Harley Hammond and has made statements how broadford have rested players and are very defensive towards broadford then he or she is on the GO SHARKS band wagon and being critical that the umpires cost RUPO etc

I CAN SEE A STATE OF JEKYLL & HYDE.

KDFL do it and works well poor administration perhaps other option is league gets all funds and reduces clubs subs by half or something
There is a short fall in creativity and presidents with balls to demand a better go for the clubs couldn't be a president and not lead on behalf of my club and for the better of the league don't get it ....

I was actually at the game, even had a bit to do with it.
As far as the umpires go, sure they made some mistakes but the conditions were very heavy under foot for both the umpires and players. But in general I thought they did a good job
I instruct my players in those conditions to be first in and hard at it. That way you give yourself and your team the best opportunity.
I'm pretty sure most of us were taught the same thing
Our game on Saturday was a good tough honest game of wet weather footy.
And the umpires had no bearing on the result either if we had of lost or won..

Plenty happening behind the scenes but as usual expect those involved to be last to know. On another topic would I be right in my estimates that either this year or next the tender for administering the RDFL is up for grabs, or since the original agreement has something more permanent been put in place?

Great to hear the Footy show boys give Big Footy a plug this week. Good show too lads.

Personally I think Wallan's problems stem from a drop in intensity over a 10-15 minute period and not just away, but at home too. If they're guilty of one thing that would be it. In just about every game they give sides a head start and end out playing catch up footy which takes a lot out of you on heavy grounds. Either way with a pretty much new look squad the signs have been good with the 2s and 18s looking good for finals. Hopefully the bulk of the side stick around and they build on that for next year.

My tips:

Sunbury by 14
Wallan by 1 :)
Melton by 14
Lancefield by 24
Diggers by 18
Rupertswood by 16
 
Hope our mate Keston is ok, been 4 days and not a word said, maybe the boys up at kangaland have requested nicely he shut up ?

So if scores on website correct Lancefield in the six. Wallan need romsey to beat Lancefield next week or Wallan need to beat rockbank by a huge margin.
Broad ford need rupo to beat riddell so they can get third. Makes for an interesting final round.
Assuming of course diggers beat Sunbury as well

Let me say posts like yours only shows how little you know about me pal always gave a 100 percent at any club I've been at .....
Will say this that the RDFL amazes me how at clubs one or two individuals create so many waves when people who aren't local get on board and help turn things around there are many good people at clubs thus the negative reflects the view of that club by others that is disappointing !!!!!!!!

Life's to short to give a shit about people that post crap like what you have posted
KEEP on punching you might realise one day that your negative crap you keep posting may reflect the individual you are and you may decide to see the bigger picture ...

Keston, give it a spell, not once have I been negative on here as I have no reason to be, and in particular towards yourself. I for one admire you putting yourself out there week in week out. Go back through my posts to confirm my above statement.

My comment was purely based on the fact you continue to contribute to this forum and since Skip replied to your post earlier this week and in my opinion and mine only it appeared it was done in pure frustrations you have not been posting on this forum.

I have never and will never question you or what you have done at any local club nor anyone else that continues to put up their hand to assist local clubs in our great league, clubs at local level need all the help they can get, it's a tuff journey that we are all on,

Onwards and upwards.

I know we aren't supposed to umpire bash and all that stuff but the umpiring standard in the 1's and 2's isn't great. Let's be honest! Only my opinion and I will fall short of saying they cheat, but please don't tell me they don't influence games (1's and 2's, especially an umpire from the 2's today who somehow has umpired 1's grand finals before, got no idea how, and hopefully will never again for the good of the league) but somehow we need to lift the standard and get rid of those people.

Hard to lift the standard without more willing participants. Maybe we could reduce the league fee's and then have each team provide one umpire each per game?

I doubt over 100 minutes they'd influence an outcome as much as the coaches and/or players from both competing sides do .....
