if your talking bout spence from the 18`s he got demolished by BIG SCOTTY CARTER, he kicked 4 or 5 on the day, is it daniel cummeford?

I tell you, Scotty Carter was struggling to get a kick wasn't he? Then in the last 4 or so games and especially the finals, the kid was on fire.. Almost unstoppable, in the final against Woodend he forced Woodend to move Matt Stacey onto him, effectively handing Macedon the win.

yeah scotty was the biggest reason why macedon firstly knocked off romsey, then he WAS the reason why macedon pumped woodend in the preliminary and i`d hate to see the score of the grand final if he had not of played against riddell. its amazing to think that before the finals he could not even get close to getting a kick.

Fair point, be interesting to see how he makes the transfer to Senior Football, could be a huge bonus for Macedon FC.

yeah late in the year when woodend travelled across to play macedon scotty actually played a game for the seniors after he had already played for the u/18`s. In the seniors match he played in the square and managed to kick 3 goals, so i think he may have a good future in the riddel league. one of the strongest kids around.

James was a backman at Sunbury, he is now a different player to when he was there, so the comparison is a poor one. He is now a key forward.

That is incorrect.He played mainly as a half forward flanker.Would be a fringe player for Echuca.A very good impact player but not worth $800 a game.

Personally i`ll go Diggers for the seniors, Woodend for the reserves(being very hopefull), and then Riddel again for the 18`s by a huge margain.......

Tough call at the moment, there is probably alot of movement and changes that may occur over the next couple of months that will have sides jumping all over the place.
Be interesting to see.

No, Gisborne play in the BFL, but Luke Saunders one the league B & F and Jordan Barham was league team of the year CHF I believe.

Not a bad league, not the best either, they could both probably play VFL, especially Saunders when he is on he is unstoppable. Barham is a lazy footballer, thats why he loves it there.

Meldrum has confirmed that he wants to play for the Cats next year with his mates, but also is expecting the $$.... This could be a big blow for Romsey who look like losing Morgan who is considering a move to Moonee Valley FC.

R.Harley met today with club officials @ Macedon. It's not sure whether he will stay or not, obviously the lack of chances in the senior team have effected him. He spent most of the year in the two's before heading overseas with some mates.

Im tipping that R.Harley may be RDFLBoy....

I also have information that Keilor may look at contacting Alastair... Will be interesting, a player of his talent should NOT be wasting his time at Macedon... If Moonee Valley is the go, then Al, do yourself a favour and go.
I would like to see him go to a quality side in a quality league to prove that there is some real talent in our competition.
