They should really switch in the NBA so that the away side wears white, as they do in the NHL (and they're starting to do in the AFL even though sides like Essendon fight it tooth and nail).

Eeeeexcellent.
MLB (baseball) are also colours away, and light at home.
In the NFL most teams like to wear colours at home IIRC, but some teams such as the Cowboys like to wear light colours at home.
Im not saying it should never be colours vs colours. A game like Sydney vs West Coast, or Gold Coast vs Carlton is not an issue, its games such as Carlton vs Collingwood and Essendon vs Richmond in general.
As a general thing, anyone that thinks that having two teams in completely contrasting colours is a bad thing is an idiot...

I know about my Bigfooty idiot...but I usually browse the WCE board then click on the RDT link at the top, but now that this favourite player threads going, I often have to click 'the nest' then on to the RDT.
God I'm lazy
As foretold by me (lol) Dallas at home today had fans wearing blue. Of course, Dallas being at home wore white while OKC wore blue.
Also, when I said the thing about anyone not liking contrasts being an idiot, I meant all things being equal before we talk about traditions and the like. For example, If I was starting a brand new sport, with 4 brand new teams, they would obviously have four completely different colours etc...

As I waited for Mark to finish his phone call, I traced the painting on the wall with my finger and thought, “Why in the **** can’t I paint?”
“Lindsay says, hi,” said Mark.
“Tell her that I say, hi too,” I said.
Mark was about to speak into the phone, but he balked.
“What happened?”
“She hung up.”
Mark shrugged and pocketed his phone. “Oh well.”
I felt sick. If I had access to a phone, I would have called Lindsay back immediately, but there was nothing I could do. Well, almost nothing.
That evening, I used a crowbar to pry open the basement window of Lindsay’s home. Once inside, I grabbed the cordless phone off of the charger, pressed the button and held it to my ear. Now there was nothing left for me to do but sit in the shadows of the dark basement and wait.
With the low hum of the dial tone in my ear, I closed my eyes and pondered the logistics of my plan. Lindsay would have to use the phone at some point and when she did, she would notice that somewhere in her home, another phone was off the hook.
“Is someone using the phone?” she would ask.
And I would say, “Hi, Lindsay. Hi to you too.”
I guess I drifted off because when I woke up, it was hours later and her husband was already almost done beating me with a hammer.
“Lindsay says, hi,” said Mark.
