Yeah its stupid how every wank on the corner is asking my opinion on the sport they won't give a damn about in 3 weeks and not until another Aussie gets far :p

Not talking about anyone here of course, love dicussing it with you blokes :p

People like my mum who has been calling and asking me questions all week about it when she largely ignored the sport the last 5 years of my life in that house waking up at 4 in the morn on Mondays to watch the sport...

Yeah, but now it's on 10HD a lot more people can get access to it.

I hadn't watched for years because we used to get some MLB post season games on 9 and some of the NFL news would appear in that. 10's coverage, for a novice remember, has been super. The commentators are extraordinarily professional and smooth, whilst the game itself is a little slow you sit there listening to the stats they're throwing at you. They are terrific, and then there's the cheerleaders.........................

The game ain't slow at all....

The good traditional old teams don't have cheerleaders :p  :) :(

Most of the commentators suck IMO. But I can understand how they can help a newb... Like Wally here...

Ha Ha, alright, I won't ask your opinion any more I'll just go out on a limb and say it'll be a Philly v Steelers Superbowl (which should be the kiss of death on both of them)!

Keep on going, enjoying myself on an otherwise boring night...

:( I am not.

Riggy is though. **** a duck I can't read his posts, they annoy me too much.

Hope Steelers win, I'm kinda keen to hire Rex Ryan already.

Alright, where did the Redskins go wrong? Mid season they were only 1-2 games behind the Giants and then they fell in a heap???

lol every post he makes I just flat out antagonise him, hoping he'll say something more stupid :p

The guy admits he didn't watch the game before this year and is a newb but then makes opinions basing a players entire career, on his very limited knowledge... And he'll just pull random names and examples from anywhere from anywhere...

But at least he is actively getting into the sport.

A weird old year for the Skinners... A new coach, they had a fair ways to put in Zorn's system. Unfortunately, being a first year coach, he lsoe some of his early vigour and fell into a predictable routine of plays. Portis getting injured didn't help, which of course meant their QB in Campbell actually had to try and win a game out of his own hands... Not a capable or long term project. Unfortunately they are also at a cross roads with some of their older players as well. So the team won't be looking too similar to last year, as well as their key players getting injured at inopportune times.

I think they finished as they are. An average team with a great RB, a relatively poor pass O, a porous Oline, a decent D, but not one that will force enough turnovers to win games against the better teams.

Pretty much, he just makes ridiculous assumptions that I can't really be bothered reading. Staying away in general from the board at the moment, don't want to get blow in fever. ;)

Zark, what exactly do you do? Student?

You're a Jets fans, you're all blow ins aren't ya?

Funny you ask, I wasted 3 years doing medicine and hating it (But not failing of course) only to transfer into sustainable energy engineering this year (Mechanical focus)... Whodathunk???

Being a newbie, please don't hang me Wally, but that is what I felt, about Campbell. I put him in the same category as Tavarias Jackson? (Vikings) am I being too harsh on him? When the pressure from the good D's came on couldn't hit a target.

Lmao, fourteen kilos of heroin. Hah!

Zarko, can you actually confirm that Brady was injured for the entire year?
Got injured in the first regular season game against Kansas City, on a sack by Bernard Pollard...

Funnily enough, KC went on to record the lowest total of sacks EVER in a year (a measly 11)

Whodathunk???

It was his ACL wasn't it?

Shame. Great player.

Wally is a Jets fan :p Ole TJ... A funny lad... I quite like him as a prospect in the proper situation... But as you said, when the Ds came fast and flowing for a whole game he fell apart, at the start and end of the year.

No, you make fun of Wally for his team wasting their money and the year on a 40 year old w***er of a bloke who decided to unretire for the 6th consecutive year and still manages to hold down a job despite consistently costing his respective team more wins than actually producing them.

You'll just stab me in the heart at every corner won't you Keyser?

:D:D

My interest is only a passing one these days so I can't give any informed comment.

TBH though I'd like to see Arizona win.

What do we have to blow in to?

Fair call, obviously a nerd. ;) Interesting change though.
