The thing that shits me the most with Freo is that they do not embody any of their rich football heritage or have any connection to Fremantle as a town.

I live in Fremantle and I believe they are only Fremantle in name, they have no connection to the town what so ever.

It would be great for them and football in general if they played a NAB match or a game where they get a poor crowd down at Fremantle Oval.It would give them a sense of place and link them to Fremantle.

How many people do you think can fit into Fremantle Oval?

There were over 14,500 at the NAB cup match v Richmond this season. It's not feasible to have that many people and corporates at Fremantle Oval in it's current state.

A season proper match is not going to happen. Which of the 39,000 members should be told they can't go to the game because it's being held at Fremantle?

Mate i have a copy of the afl record right in front of me McLeod got traded for Chris Groom back in 1994 and Chris Groom only played 24 games(originally said 7 but it's definitely 24 now that i checked)

Agree they are Building.

IMO, they seem to be at least getting it right with the kids. Then again, they still have Bradley, Murphy, Peake, Thornton plus an Anchor and the colour purple on their jumper.

I think the general sentiment here is that the purple is the best part of there jumper and that they should get rid of the green and red, going with purple as their main colour (see the purple haze jumper).

I think their mainly-white one looks the best. Never have liked the purple, but agree the red and green look ordinary too. Any one of those colours on it's own would be an improvement
