Don't under-estimate the significance of the term bandied around by the club , 'Re-Setting'.
I don't work at Carlton but I've worked in marketing for 20 odd years and I suspect a great deal of work / thinking went into coming up with that term.
Clubs in the past have used the word re-building, and some more recently have said they are renovating. These words send a message to fans/corporates/other stakeholders.
Re-setting doesn't imply a rebuild so much, even though that is what it is. It softens the blow somewhat.
Sure, it reflects new faces on and off the field, and also a new approach/new philosophy to teaching/game plans, but we're kidding ourselves if we think we aren't rebuilding.
I like it (re-setting) though, it's smart thinking.
